This stone house in Narragansett is one of Rhode Island's most charming bed and breakfast inns. The 8500 square foot home resides in a lovely area of South County about 1.5 miles from the beautiful town beach. The home was built in the 1800s from stone quarried on the site. Although the floor plan has stayed true to the original design, it has completely been updated - including the elevator. The home and gardens are a continuous work in progress with new flowers, trees, gardens and improvements every year. The gardens include a white garden, water garden with koi, a shade garden, and a small formal garden with a fountain. The Richards has four bedrooms with king or queen beds. All rooms have private baths and fireplaces. A queen suite and a two-bedroom king/queen suite both have separate sitting rooms. Each morning, guests wake up to the smell of Nancy's full, gourmet breakfast, served in the beautifully appointed dining room.
