Had to change rooms immediately after check-in due to flowery smell in assigned room. I have allergic reactions to heavy smells as does my sister............they did accommodate us and the next room was less smelly. would not stay here again...expensive for what you get...... only positive was the grill restaurant...serves a fabulous corn chowder.
Beds were comfortable.
There was a funky smell in our room, but everything looked clean. There were kids running and yelling outside our room at 7:00 AM, so that woke us up. The price was a little much for what we got. We paid $134 and it didn't even include breakfast. Only spoke to the staff at check in and check out. They did their job, but weren't overly friendly or helpful. No room to move or get dressed in the small bathroom. Definitely wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it didn't stand out for any reason.
All the staff were super nice. I can't remember the ladies name from check-in but I remember her tag said she was from Louisiana, she was super kind and explained everything very well.
All the convenience of opryland hotel at 2/3the price.
Fan on air conditioner clanged all nite. Not up to Marrott standards
At te time of check in they didn't have my room ready. I had to wait 3 hours for them to get my room ready. The staff was not polite on how much they inconnvienced me. Other than that the room was average. It was right next to the dumpster on the back of the hotel. Very disappointed for spending over 175 dollars for 1 night.
Loud. People outside room yelling at 1:00 am. Checked in after 10 pm and room wasn't ready. Not a good hotel. Overpriced
Close to my meeting at the Gaylord Hotel
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great location to the mall and highway for easy access
Would've prefered a room with a refrigerator and I would suggest getting a room with an interior exit to help with noise level from the highway.
I stayed at the Inn at Opryland to attend a 4 day conference at the Opryland Resort, which is across the street. The Inn's front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately when interacting with the cleaning staff, I was disappointed that they were not eager to help. The cleaners did not visit my room to change towels, empty trash or make the bed for 3 days. I finally called the cleaning dept. so that I could have my trash emptied, as I'm happy enough to make my bed and to reuse my towels. The onsite gym smelled terrible. I don't think that it is cared for at all. I requested a spacious room and was given one for handicapped visitors. Even so, the room was a tight space. Last, breakfast is not complimentary and coffee starts at $3 per cup. Across the street is the Gaylord Resort which does include several coffee shops and restaurants to choose from but at prices that are double if not three times what patrons spend in downtown Nashville. Thank goodness there are shuttles and cabs to take away from the Gaylord Resort and the Inn at Opryland. While the location was convenvient for purposes of my conference, there was not much else to see nearby as you are about 20 minutes from Nashville and not able to easily walk anywhere else as the resort and hotel are located off a freeway and a major highway. Not a good value for money spent.
I liked the TV and the furniture.
I didn't like the fact that I could hear everything outside
Great bed! Clean! Amenities in bathroom were great. Highly recommend staying here at half the cost of OpryLand right across the street. We had and inside room. Noise from Opry Backstage club right below us was actually fun, great music. ;)
Everything do not book through them!! Screwed us out of 100 dollars room wasn't what we booked!!! Horrible experience never will stay or book through again!!!
Clean comfortable room. Fitness center was open 24 hours and pretty well set up. We lucked out and got an inside room so it was pretty quiet most of the time. All the employees we dealt with were great. If you want to check out Opryland hotel and can walk okay you could be there in about 5-10 minutes instead of paying their $21 parking fee.
My room was on the first floor so we had to wade through the crowds that were using the meeting room. The bathtub was a little dangerously high. I almost slipped a few times trying to get out because it is so high. Everyone in the room was 5'8" or taller and had the same issue so I wonder if it would be worse for shorter people.
The rooms were nice and a good value for the price.
The luggage cart room smelled like BO.
Rooms were clean and up to date.
The room we were in was very noisy. Our room was located above the offices on the street side and just didn't seem very insulated from all the traffic noise
I loved everything about the end the hospitality was amazing it was clean the amenities were great I will definitely be back
there was not one thing I did not like about the inn....
We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and the free shuttle to the opry.
The rest of the experience. We booked a king bed and were given 2 doubles. We booked a room with a mini fridge and were not given one. when I called the front desk to have this fixed she was very rude about my requests. After my insistance she did send up a mini fridge. She did not change us to a room with a king bed, and we spent our anniversary trip on two full beds. We had more than one person tell us the wrong shuttle drop off location. When I talked to the manager about this before leaving she said there was nothing she could do because we booked it on kayak. She said she would give us some points after we signed up for the rewards program but we haven't seen any points yet. Also, the hotel seemed to be advertised as being right next to the opry and this one was not close at all. We had to take a shuttle that was shared with several other hotels. We had planned on walking to the port and the mall, which wasn't possible with this hotel. We had to drive to the mall, which we hadn't planned for. Overall, the hotel was misrepresented, the staff were rude and the hotel was unwilling to try to make up for what was misrepresented. The points that were offered to us were not even enough for a one night stay at most hotels, and we stayed 3 nights there.
The ambiance: comfortable but posh.
