I've had success at this Avis location in the past so I tried using them again.Cons:
The car was not ready (needed vacuumed) when I picked it up. After I left the location as was en route to my destination I noticed this horrible smell and since Windows were open when we did the walk through with car, I didn't notice the horrible smell of smoke. I didn't have time to return car so I had to drive almost 500 miles with this horrible smelling car. I am very disappointed in the service.Budget

The staff at the Queens Village office was great and the value of the rental was excellent.Cons:
My car got a flat in Massachusetts and Enterprise did nothing to help. After a wait of five hours, roadside assistance told me they had arranged a replacement car- which they insisted upon, rather than simply patching the damaged tire. When I arrived at the local office, there was no car for me. I was subsequently told I would be charged for not returning the car on-time (which I could not do, as I was stranded in Massachusetts). The local office staff are helpful but the central office is terrible.10.0 Wonderful

The SUV I ended up with was nice, Not cleaned after previous rental though but with clean smell and less than 10K miles on it.Cons:
They don't have vehicles at that location at this time, they are bringing as needed from their Great Neck office. The SUV they had for me had cigarette smoke smell inside, so I requested to change the vehicle and it took for ever... in the end I ended up paying $50 more as they did not have a similar class vehicle. ...even though I received another SUV. I Will try to avoid this location if possible next time.Eagle Rent A Car
