The Space: This historic NOLA home boasts classic features with plenty of modern touches. A stone outdoor space, adorned with statues, frames the pool and hot tub. Lounge in the warm, southern air, or relax in the AC while enjoying the home's antique touches. However you choose to spend your time, your group can experience the best that this remarkable city has to offer. -Space is professionally designed and crafted with large groups in mind. -Front and back porches with seating overlooking street and pool respectively -Spacious outdoor area with statuesque pool and hot tub -Poolside lounging area surrounded by luscious greenery -Two indoor kitchens, fully stocked with essential cookware.  -Cozy dining area for casual dining. -Other amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry (washer/dryer/iron & board), and more. -All beds feature Tempur-Pedic-quality mattresses and silky, high thread count linens. -All bathrooms are immaculate and include essential toiletries and stacks of plush cotton towels. Guest Access: The entire house, including outdoor space, is reserved for your exclusive use. The Neighborhood: The Marigny is a safe, friendly, and laid-back area, rated as one of the top 10 hippest neighborhoods in the country by the "New Yorker" magazine. You will be in the middle of the Marigny/Bywater buzz, a short 5-6 minute walk to Frenchmen and about a 15 minute stroll to the French Quarter, this central location is an ideal home base for your vacation. You don’t need to go far to discover why this neighborhood is a hidden gem — some of the best bars, restaurants, and art galleries in NOLA are close by. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including local's favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience. Getting Around: The best way to get around is by foot, bike, or Uber. Depending on your stride, the French Quarter is 10-15 minutes walking or a short Uber away. But many, especially locals, prefer to spend time on Frenchman St. (a 5 minute walk) or in local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes in the Marigny and Bywater. Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe and common at all hours of the day and night. Use your common sense when coming and going late at night and take a taxi or Uber/Lyft if you are ever in doubt. Other Things to Note: Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized using properly rated disinfectant for COVID-19, as outlined by the WHO. Reservation holder must be over 21 years of age. NOTE:  This listing has an additional Agreement that applies to all guests staying at the Premises.  As part of the booking process, Guest(s) will be required to complete a guest verification process prior to receiving any check-in information pertaining to the Premises.  The booking Guest will be required to provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.  Guest(s) will be required to review and sign an Agreement with the Host.  Cash App or any pre-paid debit cards are not acceptable methods of payment.  Please also refer to Schedule A in the Agreement between Guest and Host for a table of fees assessed for violating terms of the Agreement or Policies outlined therein.  This is not a pet friendly property.  Mailing packages to the Premises is not permitted. We use Arlo and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations. You will have complete privacy here. Should a rare maintenance issue occur, our ground team is available to assist. Check-in is keyless; no need to worry about lost keys! Permit numbers: Hotel Exemption Interaction with Guests: As a host, I value being able to provide my guests with complete privacy. That said, should the rare maintenance issue occur, myself and my property manager are available to help.
