Location is excellent, close to shops and metro
The size of the room and the bed was very poor. I felt we were discriminated as Priceline customers and received the smallest room that was available in the hotel. The double bed was 95cm (!)wide and definately not suited for two persons. Unacceptable!Location is excellent Hotel is somewhat old and dark in atmosphere, but with a funny design. Not all spaces (elevators, restaurant) are well maintained. Restaurant food is good and staff friendly Overall staff at reception, restaurant and other spaces is somewhat unprofessional. We saw that popular and practical jokes were not appreciated by all guests (we were ok with it, but this is not what you expect for this star level) The size of the room and the bed was very poor. The location was perfect. We were a few blocks from Central Park, around the corner from excellent restaurants and very close to the theater district.
No, it was great.
Location and cleanliness
small rooms, but it's expected in NYC!My husband and I stayed in a 'cozy' room (double bed), we arrived earlier than check in but our room was ready, it was very clean, and even though it was small it had everything we needed, I don't think upgrades are necessary to just sleep and shower, you shouldn't spend more time than that at a hotel in NYC anyway! Go out and enjoy the city!
Location was great, and front staff were excellent.
Room was tiny even for NYC standards, and the waitress in the bar had poor service skills.
It was clean and conveniently located.
Lack of space and no free wi-fi.This would have been a good room for a 2.5-star hotel. But for a 4-star it was tiny (10 by 10 feet), with a bed that was too small for a couple, and almost no room for handling luggage and personal belongings. It also charges for wi-fi ($16 dollars per day, with daily periods starting at noon).
As soon as they learned we are Marriott silver elite members we were treated like royalty. Not that I think we would have been treated poorly but I is nice to be made to feel special. Staff was very attentive. The ambiance of the common areasfabulous.
Like most new York city hotel rooms, it's was small, but we loved the bathroom:-)The attentive staff made pour weekend stay so enjoyable. We would definitely go back. My daughter and I had never been to the city together until this trip. She has been many times as have I. She was very impressed with the treatment we received.
The common areas were nice. The location was great/
This was a huge disappointment! It was not a four star hotel, when I bid I asked for two people per room and we were given a full size bed in a very small room.To change we had to upgrade for xxx per room per night so we opted for a pullout bed, terribleNot a four star and the staff was not nice and would not give two women traveling together more than a full size bed. I have used Priceline for years and all of the NYC hotels will give us two queen or double beds for two women traveling together. This hotel would not do that and only would give us the option for a xxx upgrade per room per night for a larger bed or a pull out cot. We opted for the cot and it was not comfortable. The other room with one person in it had a full bed and was so small you could hardly walk around the bed. The women in that room could not even use the luggage rack since there was no where to put it in the room. Priceline s...
location was great. Staff very friendly.
Priceline needs to stop booking full size beds for 2 people. This is not considered a two person room and two normal size people cannot fit comfortably in a full size bed. The staff was kind enough to upgrade me but priceline needs to look into this. The hotel was very nice. Room decor was pleasant. My only complaint is that I was booked into a room with a full size bed not a queen size.
Helpful staff, good restaurant
Room could have been cleaner. Cleaner left a dirty rag in bathroom.Excellent location, staff, restaurant. Cleaning staff could have been more diligent.
The public spaces were nice.
We had a broken shower head, someone was using wood stain in the hall and the smell was terrible in the room and elevator noise all night long in our room was mildly awakening.
