Staff was nice, thats all that there is to like.
This is NOT a 5 Star hotel. The room was comically tiny. I found drywall screws on the floor, the shower door was broken and i found pieces on the shower tiles lying on the floor of the shower.
Great Location (57th & 6th Ave). Excellent Bed.
Lobby, including the Lounging Area, had a stifling smell of flowers/potpourri as if to cover some other odor. Room was small/cramped, even by Manhattan standards.
Service was excelent. Very nice decor.
Rooms were very small.
The rooms were impeccable and the service was marvelous.
Could not name one thing I disliked about the hotel.
standard room too small for a 5 star hotel
Beautiful hotel, state-of-the-art technology and very comfortable.
Great service, nice rooms, good location.
The 5 star category is certainly misleading when it includes hotels like this and at the same hotels like the mandarin oriental, plaza, ritz carlton, four seasons. This is a really nice 3 star, but 5 stars is ridiculous.
The location was stellar. I love being close to Central Park and 3 different subway lines.
I would have expected better service for the price. Also, the room we stayed in had someone's leftover underwear in a drawer. There was no recovery taken by the hotel on this.
Everything. Hot service was amazing. Concerge was super friendly. Lady especially
Newly renovated room with high tech features.
Right next store a new building is being constructed so there was jackhammer noise starting early in the morning.
location is good if you're staying in Midtown Manhattan. Nicely appointed boutique hotel.
rooms are cruise ship small. noisy a/c unit never shut off, couldn't keep the room adequately cool. Room had two phones and no clock. I'd lose one of the useless phones that nobody ever uses and put a clock in the room. some rooms have really bad views
Gorgeous hotel, in a great location with excellent service. Incredible art throughout and a very cool gym.
n/a, loved everything about it.
The best part about the hotel was checking out and leaving.
Requested double bed room in advance, which was ignored. Was placed in a dark concrete room with a window next to a dumpster.
Friendly staff & nice pillows.
somewhat disorganized. First room I was given was in the process of being cleaned with a weak air conditioner; the second was fine. Probably unusual as this is a good hotel.
The staff was definitely 5-star. Really great team.
The bed was very hard. Neither of us slept well.
New / renovated
Few amenities / very small rooms (I've lived in manhattan for 15 years so I know that NYC hotels are notoriously small but this was ridiculous for a 5 star rating
Staff very hospitable. Several thoughtful touches like umbrellas in every room, excellent coffee in lobby every morrning
Too much tech. Could not turn off bright bathroom light at night, HVAC system very noisy. Controller for lights, shades etc so bright had to be unplugged or covered with a towel. Also had a news crawl of all the blood being shed in the world you could see
the staff and the location
the unexpected up charge for 2 beds not a king as was verbally promised. The check in clerk did not handle this very well,
They did not disclose that construction was right next door and the drilling and vibrations we felt in our room. That is unacceptable and we should be given a refund.
Bathroom was very clean and modern.
Hotel was small, dark, no open spaces. Room was not at all in line with expectations or a 5-star hotel in NYC or any other city.
