Very close to midtown clients; clean; courteous staff; modern decor
For $350/night I expected WiFi in my room, not just in the hotel lobby. It's annoying to feel like I'm being nickel-and-dimed on top of that kind of nightly rate.
The main entrance was unbelievable with the water on the top and the front desk staff was really friendly
Ridiculous charge for a bottle of water
Asked for two days to turn down the heat.. Room temp said 65. Maintenance had it at 82. Slept with the window open. Unbearable for two nights. Finally brought me Fans night 3. For $400 A Night think they could get it fixed.
Sal at the check in desk provided great advice on rooms. Staft at concierge, Jarrod, and at entrance were always warm and accommodating.
Lady concierge on duty on my last day directed me to a grubby restaurant when there were nicer ones in the same location. She did not pay attention to my specific needs and requests. That was the only disappointment.
elvator arrangement confusing
The entire hotel looks great. The lighting and decor everywhere was amazing. Loved the room. There was a panel to connect external devices via HDMI and various other ports, great for gaming or connecting your own media device. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The location was also great, right in the center of everything in Times Square. Having a king size bed was great too.
Parking- They have a 3rd party company that handles their parking for $60 a night, $70 for SUV's. I understand it's the city, but I'm already paying almost $350+ a night, I should have parking. I understand the price of rooms per night is high, especially for this great location, but honestly it's not worth it. I could've gotten a hotel room in another 4+star hotel just a few blocks away for a couple hundred cheaper a night, and it probably would've had bigger rooms. I had a room where a billboard was on the building across from me, the shade's didn't help too much with the amount of light that was coming in.
Room and lobby
The concierge - very arrogant man
The staff was extremely helpful, the room was well decorated (although not very big) and the location was excellent.
There was a mix up with my credit card and they ended up charging me more money regarding the hotel room and charged one excess hotel bar account.
The design of the hotel was amazing, I loved it! Very Modern hotel! I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to go far to have a drink, I would go down to the lobby bar and have a drink then return to the room! Great crowd! I arrived early, yet my room was ready! The front desk agent Nicholas was very nice and helpful and promptly checked me in! Hotel is in a great location, plenty of restaurants in time square and down the side streets! Can't wait to come back!
Loved the view
Didnt know how to put blinds down
The beautiful, contemporary decor, gorgeous city views, the comfortable bed, and quiet room made it our haven for the week. My husband also loved the gym, which was not an additional fee, thank you.
The noisy bar on floor 7 was very annoying to be forced to go through to get to our room each night. Also, having to wait in a lengthy line at the consierge and lobby desks when we needed to ask even simple questions was irritating (floor 7 again, ugh).
