Black Burn Lodge B&B has a selection of attractive bed and breakfast accommodation in the Scottish Borders, around 25 miles north of Carlisle. Located just to the west of Northumberland National Park, the house was designed and built by the owner, and features a delightful garden, terrace and conservatory. The spacious rooms at Black Burn Lodge B&B all have a TV, large wardrobes, hairdryers, fluffy robes and toiletries, as well as free WiFi. There is a family room with large en suite bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower and two more double rooms with a luxury en suite walk-in shower room. Breakfast is served at The Olive Tree café just a couple of minutes away in the village, where you can choose off the menu to suit your tastes. Present the voucher given to you on arrival and enjoy the experience. The village is surrounded by hills and woodlands, and Black Burn Lodge’s owner Michael is a keen walker and mountaineer, who will be happy to share his local knowledge. Newcastleton also has a golf course, mountain biking trails and its waters offer scenic spots for salmon and trout fishing. We do not allow E bikes to be stored or charged on the property due to FIRE risk. Normal cycles are welcome and may be stored securely in the garage.
