tv, menu said that there was an ESPN channel, was NONE. Someone did not show up for breakfast coverage so the poor night clerk did the best she could. No face cloths one day, bed was poorly made (bottom sheet not tight) Sheets were NOT changed I asked
Not much to see or do in the immediate location.
it was fine
paper thin walls. heard everything going on next to and above.
Newer hotel, with some rennovations going on. New carpets. They provided a room with a fridge and microwave. Above-average in-hotel breakfast. The Massachusetts South Coast is extraordinarily beautiful and not well known to most weekenders.
Some confusion with two separate reservations over three nights, but we were able to keep the same room after all.
HORRIBLE rennovation smell throughout the hotel, it is obvious that they were using very cheap and low-quality rennovation materials. Thumbs DOWN DOWN DOWN for that!
Friendly staff...clean room...decent breakfast
Alot of noise at night...walls seemed very thin
Thin walls. A party going all night made sleeping difficult,Limited breakfast choices
the breakfast is fine.
dirty noisy, and smelly. There is still a cup of soda left by the former customer on the table, and I find some short black curl hair on bed which is absolutely not mine before I go to bed. The hair dryer is oily and not working. Basin has not hot water.
Rooms are new and clean.
The staff was great the hotel was clean
The beds were so uncomfortable and although the pool was clean and very nice it was freezing in the actual room so when you got out of the pool you were freezing but overall a great place
There was very little about this hotel I liked. Hope, at the front desk, hung up on me when I called, I found her & that staff rude. However, I was pleased with the maintenance & breakfast staff as they were all extremely friendly and helpful!
front desk staff were constantly in a rush. they made me feel like a nuisance when I was checking in. I was given the incorrect room, They claimed it wasn't the hotel's fault. I have yet to receive a refund. I did not feel welcomed by the main staff.
Very close to my daughter's school and we like this place dry much.
The breakfast could be better.
My rooms window when you opened the curtains looked out to the back side of the front entry overhang. (5 feet from the window)All you could see out the window was plaster. I have never stayed in a hotel like this. Also there were stains on the carpet.
TV picture awful, beds soft, we could hear someone snoring in the next room
The room was very spacious and clean, and we appreciated having breakfast included in the price. This hotel provides good value for the price.
The very cheap and flimsy plastic utensils at breakfast were difficult to use and are not an environmentally friendly option. Real dishes would be nice. Also, the wireless internet did not work well, and at times did not work at all.
Convenient location without paying for the price of staying in Newport.
Walls are paper thin. You can hear a lot of noise in the halls and adjoining rooms.
Complementary breakfast in the morning is very good, beds are comfortable
Staff amazing, friendly, courteous, treated us like valued guests
Spacious clean and accessible
Walls are thin so noise is high but then most are.
It was clean. good free breakfast.
first room very noisy. floor in room above us squeeked whenever someone walked on it which they did until 3:30 in the morning. moved to another room. very noisy.apparently walls are very thin. heard everything that was going on in rooms.
The bed was great and the hotel had a decent amount of offerings for its star level.
The staff was distant and the clientele was questionable at times.
The cleanliness overall was pretty good.
My room did have some hair on the tub in the shower and something on one of the mirrors on the wall in the main room--maybe lipstick or I don't know.
Large room - comfortable bed
room had not been vacuumed- stains everywhere on the carpet-the fire alarm in the room went off while we were in bed. Had to call someone to put a new battery so it would stop. Were woken up in the middle of the night by a dog barking in the room next
Near food and shopping.
Slow elavator, took three attempts to get room keys to work.
Staff was nice. Breakfast was okay.
Should be rated 2 or 2 1/2 at best.
i have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times the hotel is okay but no more. there's something 'dark' about the corridors. there is also a stale odor in these same corridors. i just don't think the hotel deserves a 3 star rating
Dirty and old interior.Sofa had huge holes from burns.Didn'the feel safe. Back doors left open. Shady, dirty characters walking through.Smelled funny. Maids cart left in hallway after 8:00pm. Couldn't open room after 3 attempts.Took over30 min. Tired!
This is NOT a 3 star hotel! It is a nice 2 star hotel.
was woken up at 1:45 am by other people trying to get into my room - they had the wrong room number
this hotel should not have a 3 star rating. it's 2 - 2.5 at best. The walls were thin and the crowd seemed like more of a party one
Front desk staff was polite upon our arrival.
The hotel was old, generally not well kept, I would not recommend it to a friend.
The rug in my room had multiple stains on it. The pillows were half size with no form. The towels, while clean, were old and some were yellowed.
Location was horrible. Right next to a strip joint. The carpets were stained, the wallpaper peeling off the wall.
location and pool
Asked due to special needs to be put in a quiet area. 2am loud drunk people checked in next door. woman at the desk was too busy texting to hear my issue in the morning...very rude...did not check notes about my medical situation - never going back.
The woman at the front desk
This hotel was depressing. We were there a total of 12 hours and glad to leave it! If I had been shown this hotel before I purchased it I would not have purchased it because it was not the rating it was given and I could tell that from pictures.
carpeting, furniture dirty and stained Paid for room/suite with a King, Queen and pull-out bed but found the suite had NO pull out bed. Non-smoking hotel but smokers lingering right outside entrance.
