Great place to stay with all the admentities of home. Staff at The Towers was exceptionally helpful. Wonderful!
You actually have to check in about 2 blocks away at another facility and then double back to the original condos (The Towers) for your stay. It was a little confusing and a bit of a hassle, but not a huge deal.
The location, furnishings and pool areas were incredible!
Our room was owned by Prince Resort so checking in was a little difficult and I wish they had a better system in place.
The room was well appointed and unexpectedly had a little kitchenette which was nice.
Address should be 'N Myrtle Beach' not 'Myrtle Beach'. Sent a mile up the road to check in and were charged an additional $35 in taxes and resort fees. Then sent back to original location to stay. NO maid service for length of stay.
The room was great.
Registration was very confusing. We had to go back and forth between buildings with staff from both places blaming each other for the difficult process. My key wasn't properly activated and I was locked out of the building after 11:00pm.
The room and the service were both excellent. No complaints at all and I recommend it to anyone. However, I thought other people were being too picky when I read about the checking in being at a different hotel a mile away. There really weren't. I hated that part because I accidentally deactivated my room key and left the car keys inside the room so I had to walk all of that just to get it activated again. I don't know, I'm kind of lazy but then again I was on vacation so i wanted convenience. Also I'm in my mid 20's so I wanted to party and go to bars and there weren't many options so the area isn't good for that either. If you have a family and kids, this place is perfect, the room was very comfortable has everything you will ever need. Except extra towels. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. Also, the address shown above, and on their website are both incorrect. There are about five tower hotels and finding this place was my biggest challenge ever, aside from the mile walk to check in. I will not deprive future guests of the 'lets find the hotel' adventure (lol, have fun) but i'll give you two clues...this is the one located in cherry grove, and the internet may not help you find the correct address so break out that good old south carolina yellow pages book!!
Upon arriving and waiting at the counter about 10 minutes to check in the clerk wasn't able to find our reservation. After showing her the email confirmation we were told our room was there but we would have to travel a couple of miles to a different hotel to check in and get our keys. Upon arriving at the 2nd hotel we were told we had a balance due. I showed the clerk my receipt stating paid in full and she called her supervisor. The supervisor was extremely rude and told me we owed a resort fee. I again referred to my email confirmation which showed we had already paid a resort fee. She pointed to some fine print that said a credit card may be required for incidentals, phone charges, etc. I disagreed that a resort charge was not an incidental and we'd already paid one. She very rudely told me she wasn't going to debate it and if we didn't pay it we forfeited our reservation and the balance already paid. Basically, she told me to shove it. We paid the additional charge because it was the smartest thing for our checkbook. We got our keys and went back to the 1st hotel where we were told if we needed anything we'd need to contact the desk at hotel #2. Room was nice enough although we needed extra pillows but weren't willing to drive 2 miles to get them. The whole process left us disappointed and exhausted
This was the best hotel we stayed in,in a long time. The only thing was we had to drive two blocks down the street to another hotel to get the key. We will return. The hotel was not loud and very clean.
I stayed here in March 2010 and really enjoyed this hotel. We booked a corner room with an ocean view and I loved waking up to see the beach everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the maid service was good. Our room had everything we needed- cookware, dishwasher, internet, etc. I would definately reccommend the Towers. It's a great value and allowed us to have a vacation on a budget without making sacrifices in hotel accomadations. We definately felt like we payed much more for the hotel room than we actually did because the location and room were so nice.
Very nice amenities, I have stayed in other hotels for the same price that weren't even half as nice as this place. WILL definately stay here again. Super fast elevators. Great service. Everyone was very nice. Private parking deck across the street from hotel. Great section of North Myrtle Beach.
