Location, nice breakfast bar
bugs, bugs, bugs & room was warm even with a/c turned down.
Close to highway.
Very noisy. Called front desk 2-3 times to tell them about the extreme noise and partying going on in another room.
The hotel has a very nice restaurant and bar. The free breakfast was very good.
Staff all friendly. Hot tub very nice. Decent restaurant.
Assignment to handicap accessible room was unwelcome surprise. Would have much preferred tub over walk-in shower. Stockef with only two skinny little bath towels was not cool.
Older facilities. Expensive for outdated room.
Continental Breakfast was the only redeeming aspect to this hotel
Bugs in the room.
Great Location, right off the Interstate.
Room was very outdated, not so much dirty as in need of a spruce-up. Curtains don't close all the way.Just not a great hotel at the price.
The pool area was nice
The charged me for the stay and I have been unable to get them to remove the charges even though I brought it to their attention.
outside access to room
No mention of pet fees imposed at check-in.
Proximity to my travel and destination.
I would have preferred a room on the first floor but, as I did not ask for it, it is not their fault! It was quiet, though.
The hotel was very convenient. Everything that i needed was in the hotel. I had to pay more then i would like too for the basic but it was convenient.
The bed was horrible! I felt like I was sleeping on rusty springs.
The most redeeming aspect of our stay was affordability. We foumd a good deal online. You do get what you pay for.
Obviously a renovated property. Our room had exterior access only, which was not ideal for getting coffee or breakfast, especially in November
It started with a very rude desk person and culminated with a room that had a filthy bathroom and carpeting that had more stains than carpeting. The smell of the room was musty and the furnishings were dated and cheap particleboard. Would never go back.
First room was Horrible! Dirty snd cheap looking! More like. 1 star!!
I thought I was at the wrong motel when I pulled in. Looked like a Motel6 definitely Not a three star!!!
Location for our business travel
The front desk help was the most UNFRIENDLY help I've had. I stopped even talking to her. Toilet was clogged, bottom of both cardboard coffee cups were punched out. Room was difficult to get to with much luggage.
The inside lobby and breakfast area looked really nice. There was a bar and grill attached that made it really nice.
The free breakfast in the morning was pretty bad. Alot of options but none of them really had any taste. I was sick after eating there so not sure if the eggs were off but something was...
The staff was very pleasant.
It was a motel--not a hotel 1.5 stars would be a stretch--definitely not 2.5 stars Smelly, dingy, old room Uncomfortable bed, pillows Towels, bedding, everything was low quality Breakfast inedible
It seemed very nice and friendly and bed was very comfortable
In. The morning my husband found a few bugs in the bathroom ome of which looked like a cockroach. I t I told the staff and they said they would loom into it.
Old and needed updating. Door stuck. Shower head was plugged. Low water pressure.
Breakfast was acceptable.
Quality and condition of facility for the price was low
It was quiet
The carpets were stained and the beds were double size. Queen would have been better
Over-priced room for an old 1960's era hotel. Little black bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. Hotel door opened onto the parking lot, lacking any security. We did not feel safe.
A ladder was left in our original room. Also a bucket and extension cord. We moved to another location across from the swimming pool. The hallway smelled badly and had oppressive heat. The drain plug in the bathroom was broken.
Breakfast. Bed was comfortable.
Many flies in room. Towel bar bent. Outside door to guest rooms did not close entirely because of damage - it appeared to have been forced. No security for outside rooms. Outside balcony walking surface was in need of repair.
The breakfast was amazing! it was a full hot breakfast with lots of variety. There were about 4 attendants keeping everything fresh, hot and plentiful.
Our room was in an old section of the Inn. Like an older motel with outside access.
The beds and the general appearance of the room. Needed updating
Everything. Had to walk up to 2nd floor on steps that were falling apart. Rooms REALLY need updated.
It needed to be updated desperately. Windows and door were very thin, could hear the room next door.
Seeing it in the rear view mirror.
Yes. See review.
Too many bugs. Some type of beetle or cockroach.
The dirty spotted carpets in the room. The bathroom door with something spilled or splashed on it that wasn't cleaned.
Staff were friendly.
Carpet in room had numerous stains. Steps to second floor were rusted and dangerous.
It was close to the exit ramp.
The cleanliness was horrible! A used bar of soap was still in shower.
Convenience and Location
Rooms and breakfast were very average
Priceline messed us up. The hotel had us in a smoking room!! Not acceptable.
The staff was very nice, friendly and helpfull
Outside rooms that were along way from the lobby area
The room was fine - better than expected given the exterior of the hotel and general grumpiness of the staff. Seemed the general employees were dealing with a less-than-pleasant boss.
Everything about the exterior of the hotel needs updating. We did not feel safe walking up stairs that were clearly rusted and decayed. It was dirty, dirty, dirty. Rubbery eggs and hard-as-rocks potatoes.
The location for I-80 traveling is perfect.
The beds were a bit hard. The room was a little musty smelling, but not horrible.
Very comfortable beds. Room was clean. Everything seemed new.
spacious room and breakfast in restaurant.
It had a beautiful lobby and outstanding area for breakfast. Breakfast itself was nice.
The room is out of date... like the 60s & 70s; was no way to close the drapes for true privacy. It had a nice table for the laptop, but no electrical outlet closeby, so I had to sit on the bed and plug in between the bed and night stand. Very unhandy.
Location, good breakfast
Our room was located by extremely hot outdoor hallway. Noisy fan running. Hard to cool room. Beds were full size and could hear springs. I have stayed at other quality inns and they were much better. All rooms had outside entrance except suites.
One person at front desk. Took 20 minutes to check in. Rooms in the back were terrible. Exterior steps to our room a disgrace. I have photo's I am happy to send. Give me an e-mail address and you'll have them.
Nothing, very dissatisfied
I don't know how this hotel got 2 1/2 stars. It was horrible, dirty, paint falling off of the walls and celieng. Bathroom was discusting, mold in bathroom, everything appeared dirty and gross. This hotel was way over priced for the quality it was.
We were put in a smoking room, b/c of booking through Priceline. We could deal with that, but the room had an outdoor entrance as did most of the rooms. The stairway to get up the steps was rusty and kind of scary!
beds, room, TV
There were not enough staff on duty to handle the amount of people staying or the issues caused by some of the guests. We had people who were outside our rooms from 1:00 am until 4:30 am drinking, partying, swearing and fighting. The police came to 2xs
Not worth the money to stay there
We booked the Quality Inn and Suites because it fell nicely at the end of one of our Oregon-Illinois travel days and because the rate was competitive. Our room was an external-entry first-floor, 2-full bed room more like a motel than a hotel (they did have internal access rooms too--wish we had one of those). It wasn't terribly noisy, but we heard cars start up and people shuffle about in the early morning. We were up too, but I wouldn't have appreciated the noise if I had been trying to sleep in. The room was dated but clean, and the hot breakfast in the morning was very good with eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. The coffee was pretty good too. Overall, not a 'Wow!' but not a dud either.
My family and I stayed at the North Platte Quality Inn on our way to a vacation in Colorado. Ill list the problems with this motel in no particular order. The walls of our room were covered with black marks. The sheets were wrinkled and stained. The Bathroom shower and floor were splotched with mildew. The pool was murky, and one of my children encountered a large wad of hair floating in it. The stairway to our room was filthy and obviously had not been swept or cleaned in weeks. Cars were screeching through the parking lot at 3:00 am. The door to our room (which opened to the outside parking lot) had no weather stripping and would not close completely. On the morning we left, the cleaning crew was tossing the dirty towels and sheets into the parking lot to be collected and presumably washed. The lot was littered with dirt, sand and cigarette butts. It had also rained, so many of the sheets landed in dirty puddles. Even if towels and sheets were sent through the wash, this is no way to run a hotel. I guess that explains some of the stains. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. It will be cleaner, quieter and save you some money.
Great location. Okay staff. Had to walk outside to get from room to pool, main area, eating area.
My wife and I stopped in for the night and we were impressed for the price. They accommodated us with a room near the pool. The rooms were nice. The all you can eat breakfast bar attendants were very polite and helpful. But best of all, my wife left her phone in the room once we left. She realized it after we were over 400 miles away. We called the front desk and they found the phone. They mailed it to our house the next day! The phone arrived all packaged up nice and neat. We had a great stay at this hotel, well worth the price!
Nice, Clean rooms. Nice facilities, and very friendly accomidating staff. Very good breakfast, however they ran out. I had plenty, but the wave that hit about 15 min before the buffet closed was left without much.
