The privately owned Lace Market hotel occupies four converted Georgian townhouses in the centre of Nottingham's chic Lace Market quarter. The buildings date back to 1700 and there are 42 rooms. It has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with a 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurant cocktail bar a quintessentially British gastro pub and meeting rooms. This hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the railway station and within a stone's throw of the cities top attractions bustling nightlife and some of the best retail therapy outside of London. Nottingham Castle Tales of Robin Hood Nottingham Caves and the Galleries of Justice can all be found in the vicinity. All of the bedrooms have standard features - en suite bathrooms flat screen television and CD/DVD players personal bars hypo allergenic bedding Aveda toiletries a desk with two line telephone voicemail and WiFi and dial up for internet access. Double rooms have 5' width beds and are comfortable for longer stays. Superior Rooms also have king size beds and are extremely spacious - with dressing areas large writing desks and views of the floodlit Georgian facade of the Galleries of Justice. From the M1 take junctions 24 25 or 26 whichever is appropriate and follow the signs for Nottingham City centre. Once in the city follow the large brown tourist information signs for Galleries of Justice and Lace Market. At the big roundabout overlooked by the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and the BBC take the exit sign-posted A60 Mansfield. Take the 2nd left into 'Hollowstone' following the brown tourist information sign. Go past Saint Mary's Church to the Galleries of Justice.
