great location, very helpful staff, clean room
Nice but hard to find.
The location of the hotel, in the center of town, made it easier to travel around the city.
The parking space is very limited. The location of the hotel is hilly making it difficult to travel to and from the hotel. Wear good walking shoes when walking to and from the hotel.
In spite of what they say on Booking.com, Villa Bella does not have air conditioning, or 24 hour desk or a bar, or a lakeview, nor are they convenient to restaurants. The house is a steep climb up a hill from town with a dark uneven pavement at night. The proprietors barely speak English and are often unavailable. Room smelled of sewage when bathroom fan was turned on, which went on automatically when the one light in the bathroom was turned on. No chair, no mirror other than small one over sink, and just one naked light bulb in middle of room ceiling. Overpriced for such a very basic accommodation. More modern, better located rooms in town are priced similarly.
Hotel rooms where cleaned regularly, good sense of privacy, good location right near centre of town that leads to the lake. Staff, when there, where friendly.
No reception therefore lack of professionalism, staff where difficult to locate, renovations where ongoing. Part of bathroom door frame fell off during our stay an the shower holder was not screwed in properly so shower head was sideways spraying on the floor. Bathroom flooded everytime we showered.
The owner was really helpful in assisting us arrange local activities.
It was difficult to find. Because it was a small hotel even some local people could not direct us to it.
Wonderful view, overlooking Ohrid. We got 3 separate beds which we had asked for, it was quite small, but we had an "extra room" the built in balcony with windows, and had a table and 3 chairs + refrigerater. Considering the price, it was very good!
Many stairs, so it is not fit for people that have problems walking. The breakfast was perhaps too simple, but ok, again still considering the price.
Nice location, not in the tourist part of the town but on the hill. Staff very helpful,
It is near the center.
Everything else. It doesn't have view, it is dark and hot inside. In the bathroom it doesn't have shampoo or soup or enough toilet paper. Workers are not willing to cooperate. It does not have a terrace...
