Cost and it was authentic
Minor up keep paint sauna didn't work
There was no mention of a room deposit on tge website or any emails. I had to let them hold $25 per night on my card for "incidentals". Because this wasn't mentioned anywhere till I got to the motel I had not planned that extra expence.
The location & price were a good deal, & there was a small kitchenette in room with a refrigerator & microwave, which I always appreciate. The room was big & clean.
The towels were small & scratchy. There was a thin comforter on the bed & the pillows were average at best. The air conditioner was loud.
The grounds were pretty and the pool was a nice break. No additional charge for a nice breakfast every morning.
Found Dorito crumbs on the floor. My family was going to eat at the restaurant but when I asked for a glass of ice tea, I was told that they only have Coke products. We went to a local steakhouse instead. Within the first hour of checking in, we had a knock at the door from a member of the staff. The young man said that he was hotel maintenance and that he smelled pot smoke from the hallway. My wife and I explained that we were there with our seven year old daughter to attend the zoo for the weekend and told him that we don't do drugs. He then left. Really put a bad taste in our mouths. Would of and should of left then but we had already purchased the rooms for the weekend on line. We called the front desk to ask where the best place to go to see a fireworks display on the fourth of July would be and we were told " Man, I am the only one working. I have no idea." Not really the response we were looking for.
I loved that it was clean and comfortable beds. The pool was nice even though you had contractor problem we enjoyed very much.
There was a cold breeze when u got out the doors to the pool and the room door the the out side didn't shut well
People were nice!
No hot tub to relax in.
Price was fantastic and the room very nice.
Bathroom was a bit small and awkward. The location is a challenge to find, but once you do it's easily accessible.
The place had a pool, fitness room, free breakfast and a bar. What else can you ask for? Off interstate 80 which was great as well. The staff were very diligent on making our bed when needed and we always had clean new towels. The only thing that bothered me was the size of the beds and the room phone. The bed was a queen size but didn't seem like it and the phone didn't even have a dial tone.
Price and location. The carpet in my room seemed to be newer. It's always nice to have a fridge in the room.
This used to be my go to place to stay while coming back to where I grew up to visit family, and I've been here about 5x or so over the past few years. It was reasonable, well located and generally comfortable. Unfortunately during this stay the housekeeping was aweful. I stayed 4 nights the first of which had a wedding party - which has always been the case when I've stayed. The hallway areas were never once vacuumed - even with lots of visible debris. A small bit of wine that we spilled on the dresser the second evening was never cleaned. The bathroom floor was never cleaned. The clock was never adjusted after the the time change. I don't know if they're just used to guests staying only one night and therefore don't think people will notice if something's in the same dirty place for days, but it's unfortunate. The mattresses and bedding have definitely been around too long. One phone didn't work and the magnifying mirror was broken and nearly fell off and was never repaired. I guess you get what you pay for. I am never coming back to this hotel.
The hotel appearance inside and out was nice. The front desk staff in the daytime was very rude. The bar staff was very nice and friendly. The lady that was supposed to attending to the breakfast area was rarely seen, even though a guest had a waffle stuck and she offered no assistance. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The door to the outside from our room was broken and evidently they couldn't fix it, though we didn't know this til we were ready to leave, so that was inconvenient. One of the lights in the bathroom was burnt out, the maintenance man took it out but never replaced it. When we tried to talk to the lady at checkout, she was very rude. We asked about a discount due to the broken door, and light out. She said very rudely "I offered to move you". She had told us actually that someone would fix the door while we were out shopping, but that didn't happen. Had we known that we would have probably moved. She said there was nothing she could do, we would have to contact Priceline to negotiate a discount. I doubt I will stay there again!!!
Not a bad value for the money, great location, the lobby was fun and the rooms have a couple more amenities than some other similarly priced hotels.
The bathroom was pretty dingy, and small. The decor in the rooms is a little 1980's, they could use a renovation.
Enjoyable stay. Nice lounge and really good breakfasts.
I loved the room and the free hot breakfast was an added bonus.
Housekeeping didn't speak a word of English, was hard to get them to understand when we wanted clean towels or sheets
I'v e stayed here many times and the service has gotten progressively worse to the point that this is likely my last time staying here. Room was awful. Everything was damp, and over perfumed to the point of gagging. Breakfast bar very lacking, and the business center was using Windows Vista - extremely slow.
Hotel was great, room was very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was well above what we expected.
our stay coincided with the college world series, there were kids running up and down the halls until very late in the night. followed by housekeeping knocking on the door by 8am.
