the room was clean, very spacious and easy to access. Most of the staff except for one cleaning lady that I talked to were helpful and courteous.
You can hardly call their 'Fitness center' a place to work out. They just have a small room with a crappy treadmill and stair stepper. A set of dumbbell would have been nice.
the hotel is dated and old. Halls to rooms are dark. Rugs are worn looking. Bathroom is dingy and old. Bed are not comfortable. Foot Beddpreads are outdated and unsanitary. I would not recommend this hotel. AND NOT WORTH WHAT WE PAID.
The restaurant was very nice but ran out of chicken which was one of the only things on the menu.
The room and hallways were too dark. The bureaus where you keep your clothes were worn.
The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean.
The limited breakfast options in the hotel (had to order off a menu, buffet was not available). We also tried dinner in the pub, the service was very slow. The pub was not crowded yet it still took almost an hour for hamburgers & fries to be served.
Bed comfortable, fairly quiet.
Pool dirty. Decided not to use the facility. No hot water for tea available, unless ordered in restaurant. Coffee drinkers however were catered???
The WIFI didn't work in our room. We either had to go out in the hall or go to the lobby! For the price............it wasn't worth the stay.
The fifth floor rooms had a room like it from the ceiling it was dry but a little bit warped
only its location to the area i was in
dirty stains on the toilet seat; stain on the comforter. pool room had peeling paint, stains on wall.
Bar next door played loud music
Proximity to restaurants in the area.
Needed some updating but overall it was well maintained.
At 11:15 morning of check out front desk staff is hounding us to vacate the room. We say we need 15 more minutes. We have a sick baby we are trying to get settled. 5 min later the cleaning lady is pounding on the door telling us we need to get out. Spoke to manager at front desk at 11:30 when we left and he said well, 'you knew the check out time!' Extremely rude. I will never go back to this hotel or another clarion because of my experience here. DONT STAY HERE!!!
We liked the fact that Main Street was right behind the hotel with the little shops and places to eat
Called for room service;no one answered-had to call back x2. found a stink bugs in our bathroom. called room service @0950-no answer & when we called back they stopped serving breakfast/vending mach. ate my money-SNACK STUCK & would not take $bill
Food was good and reasonable in price
Right next to train station- noisy! Hallways were not well lit. This was kind of creepy.
Tried to get bottled water from every vending machine on every floor and they were out of water or the vending machine didn't work
the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Only having a pricey breakfast available. It would have been nice to have a less expensive option for breakfast.
Room stunk of cigarettes and mildew. Gross kids wanted to leave. Dosent look like the rooms have updated in years.
Location to cooperstown
Exercise equipment needs up grade , sauna out of order.
Good location, nearby restaurants
Lot's of noise from the street.
Staff had great recommendations on restaurants & were very helpful
