The receptionist who didn't use the previously made guarantee for payment, though I'd asked her to. So, the amount was blocked and the same amount charged.
Clean,food excellent and staff helpful
Everything was good, most things were excellent. The hotel is reasonably new so everything was clean and worked.
Nothing against animals, but they do allow pets to stay in the ground floor rooms, but do not know which rooms, not too good for people with allergies.

Slow service at check in. Not Asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel. Took 10 mins to check a table was available. Wine asked for was not in stock. Waiter did not move our wine from bar to dining rooom without asking.No side plates for bread. Lack of certain cutlery needed to eat meal with. No continuity of waiters. Waiter had to be asked to pour out the wine on all occasions. Not offered desert menu. Not offerd coffee. Side plates and knives missing from the table when given bread at the start of the meal.Could not order our food for the restaurant at the bar so ordered when we sat down. The food was absolutely excellent. The restaurant needs someone who checks everything all the time to make sure no detail is missing eg. We were not offered a second bottle of wine or asked if everything was ok. I am sure this is a problem that can be overcome with good in house training of staff who obviously were new to the work and not experienced waiters and witresses. This is meany to be constructive criticism and would not stop us staying with you again. Lovely new hotel.
