Experience the real Jamaica in this 1922 original colonial-style-house with spacious verandas and ocean view. The bed & breakfast is located in the nicest part of Jamaica. Only a 3 minute walk to a wonderful private sandy beach where you can find turtles nesting during certain times of the year, watch the locals bring in fish, or just sit and relax. Paradise Jamaica is very affordable. The price of your stay includes an American or Jamaican style breakfast with fresh fruits and juice, freshly baked bread and cakes which is served every morning on the balcony terrace that overlooks a spectacular view of the sea. Guests are also welcome to utilize the kitchen facilities at any time or the outdoor barbeque to cook their own meals. The rooms are spacious, clean and adequately furnished (complete with a fan and mosquito netting). Some include private bathrooms others are shared. The exterior of the property strongly maintains its colonial characteristics; the interior boasts a complimentary fusion of colorfully painted “afro-caribbean” walls, local tropical scenes captured on canvas, and bold captivating wooden sculptures that add a rustic charm to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the guesthouse. There are nice beaches, breathtaking waterfalls, and eye-catching nature less than 15 minutes from the guesthouse. The beautiful scenery has not yet been affected by tourism. 
 There are nice restaurants in the area. There is a supermarket, fruit market, restaurants, bars, and many small shops in Oracabessa that is only 3km (approx 2 miles) away. 
 Reggae concerts take place at the James Bond Beach, which is also only 3km away. There is plenty to see and do in the town of Ocho Rios, which is only 15km (approx. 9 miles) away. There are clubs, parties, concerts, bars, cafés, restaurants (Greek, Indian, Italian), cinema, casino, dolphin shows, tennis, golf, horse back riding, diving, craft markets and a whole lot more. 
 Bus and taxi fares are extremely low. The trip to Ocho Rios costs approximately $2 and the ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Local buses (which are less expensive) and taxis run all day and through the night and they stop in front of the guesthouse (so the most you wait is 3 minutes). Tours can be arranged—by our local and friendly guide—to the most interesting spots in Jamaica. The social setting is diverse.
