Great location, very pleasant staff and very comfortable bed and pillows.
The room seemed fairly small for a 5 star hotel. It was great value for the 99 euros we paid but I would have been unhappy for this size room at the headline price stated as several hundred euros.
The staff are lovely and go out of their way to be helpful. There are only 9 rooms and the location is bang in the centre of the old town. You can sunbathe on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and the old town. Had a lovely 2 days here in September 2010. Would definitely stay here again.
Really friendly and helpful staff, perfect location and great roof terrace with jaccuzzi
This is not a hotel - from the first minute there, you feel like home. Although extremely friendly and helpful, the staff does not leave the impression that they do it because this is their job. Always very descreet and helpful in any way. We felt as though we were visiting friends in their home. Perfect location - in the historical center of Otranto, just minutes away from all shops, restaurants, the beaches. Wonderful roof terace, clean rooms. Rich and delicious breakfast... and many, many small details that make you so happy to stay there that at the end you feel sorry to leave.
Very nice place to stay. A real recommendation. Excellent roof terras where you can relax and come to rest.
There was a leak in our bathroom due to heavy rainfall during the night. Although a five star hotel there was no opportunity to have dinner.
The staff was out of this world! I was sad to leave because I felt like I was saying good-bye to good friends. The location of the hotel was superb for enjoying centro storico and a mare. Breakfast was divine with fresh fruit, fresh juice and a nice meat and cheese selection! Il cafe was delizioso! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel!
I thought the rooms and lobby were a little modest for a five star rating. The walls were thin so you could hear your neighbors which was disappointing. Also, they used some sort of air freshner that was far too strong and I found each time I went into my room I had to open the doors and windows to air it out a bit. This could be terrible for anyone with severe allergies or asthma! Also, the front door would be locked at times so you would ring a bell to alert the front desk. It typically wasn't a problem but I was famous for returning when the staff would be upstairs. I think it would be beneficial if they had a system where guests could slide their keys to open the door. Better for the guest and probably the staff too!
Very helpful and friendly staff.
A bit overpriced.
