People are good and affable. They are client - oriented and are interested in helping solve the problems of their clients.
It was about a five minute walk from the nearest Metro, Jourdain (line 11 Mairie des Lilas). There are a few interesting restaurants near by, Japanese, Chinese, and quite a few Middle Eastern places to pick from. The internet worked well.
I didn't mind it too much but there are a lot of stairs and no elevator, since I was backpacking it wasn't a problem but if you have heavy luggage or a lot of it then it's probably not your best choice. I was on the sixth floor so there were a lot of stairs. Both the toilet and showers are outside in the hallway. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at in France this one wasn't my favorite, I liked Grand Hotel in Paris a great deal.
The district in which the hotel is located is relatively quiet. The subway station Jourdain is within walking distance.
The building is thin-walled and the furniture is old. The room in which I stayed was situated on the sixth floor: there is no elevator in the hotel. Sheets and towels weren't changed every day.
Good for some sleep
The price is quite good; it is conveniently located near metro station, about 10 min walk away; the hotel staff is quite helpful
The room and bathroom are very small; the water pipes in the bathroom make noises when people in other rooms flush the toilet; the blanket in bed may not be good enough for night temperature and the heating is sometimes off.
lack of cleanliness, not enough place
helpfull staff, very clean
old room in need of reconstruction
The hotel was situated near the metro station, close to the centre.
that the hotel is in the centre of paris, and that the hotel is still open
maybe that the lock of our room didnt go easy open
The walls at the hotel are very thin, so you can hear the guests in the rooms next to yours and going up and down the stairs.
