For our part, we departed every morning of the conference in the brightest of spirits having had the best and deepest sleep for some weeks , a very healthy breakfast and a lively banter and chat with yourself. So that really set us up very well for each day of the Jicable conference at Versailles .Both James and I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience immensely, especially the friendliness and vivacity of the St Germain des Pres neighbourhood . Our friends have been asking us - did we go here and there and everywhere and did we do this and that .We reply we that we did neither. Instead of staying in a a relatively soulless and anoydyne hotel , we tell them that what we did was ; imbibe and soak up some of the spirit of Paris by staying with a Parisian resident and walking around the neighbourhood etc. Tom and James (two Irish men who slept at home last week)
