GREAT LOCATION ON THE BEACH
HOT TUB AND POOL WERE CLOSED. THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED AT TIME OF BOOKING. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO USE THE HOT TD, DISAPPOINTING.
Not very friendly staff!!
A little old of a place
Check out took a long time
Very personable staff! Comfy beds. Terrific view! Tasty chicken wings!
The view was absolutely spectacular, very friendly staff.
Not very much hot water in one morning shower .
the room was very dirty,we complained and were given another room that was even dirtier
Very good location and friend service.
The staff at this hotel have been amazing. Front desk to dining room to the house keeping staff. Everyone has been so accommodating and they truly seem to understand what customer service is. Beds were so comfortable. Thank you.
We were here during a hot spell and a/c would have been nice. Cools nicely at night but I had a ground level room so had to sleep with patio door wide open.
No air conditioning, no view, looking over roof and garbage
The hotel is on the water which is great. The exercise room and squash court were very good. The restaurant is also reasonably priced. The staff were helpful.
The room was on the smaller side. The elevator did not work properly and required an attendant to open and shut the doors. It would have been nice to have a free continental breakfast, which is becoming almost an industry standard.
Close to beach, pool and hot tub, sports bar and liquor store on site. Very convenient to activities in Parksville.
My wife and i were simply AMAZED!the level of KINDNESS!and the VERY FRIENDLY staff and the over and above level of service and how they went out of there way to make our stay as COMFORTABLE as possible! from the manager to the rest of the staff just GRT!
On the beach, good staff, free parking.
No air conditioning in 1/2 of rooms, ellevator broken, view of the ugly roof top, when complaint made we were asked if we would like to check out? No offer to transport our luggage for us due to ellevator being broken. Got the impression staff frustrated
The liquor store is very convenient
The fitness center was too old
The hotel was clean and quiet the staff were very friendly. The rooms are quite dated but well serviced.
It was close to people I was visiting. The hotel had a swimming pool and hot tub and optional ocean view upgrade.
The room with the swimming pool was cold and the pools had thermal covers that had to be removed and replaced to use. This was not a problem for the hot tub, but too much of an effort to use the swimming pool. The rooms had old TVs with basic cable.
The room smells like that cheap aerosol sanitizers used to mask the odor of cigarettes. Like many Priceline rooms this was on the wrong side of the hotel and the view was on the moss-covered roof next door. The staff while congenial are not helpful.
It's located right on the beach.
We were charged an extra $30 to have an ocean view!
It had a squash court in the hotel and a great gym
There was no breakfast included
The location is okay,
double beds, dated rooms, old TV, no smoking on balcony
Location!! Beautiful view!
Nothing except when we walked down the path to the ocean it was nice to sit outside by the ocean. The grounds however have not been kept up at all - it has really gone downhill since its inception...
I would never stay at this hotel ever again - I booked a three star through priceline and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst friend...we booked a three star and were given a room with no air - a floor fan was our air conditioning that looked 10 yrs old
This hotel has friendly, helpful staff, a good location on the water, a good (albeit old) fitness facility, a liquor store, salon, pet friendly, and an onsite restaurant with spectacular view to the bay.
I had a room without air conditioning, and it faced south. There was a ceiling fan and a standing fan in the room but in august that room was HOT during the daytime. The room also does not have a fridge or microwave. They do not have laundry facilities.
location on the beach
no air con in the rooms, fan only double bed only
No A C unit in the room, a broken fan, and no option for a refund, it stayed about 80 degrees all night long.
I was expect more on the 3 stars hotel but this hotel only worth less than 2 stars. The room is small, no air-conditioning, no fridge or microwave. The tv is old, the fan can't turn left or right. The sofa bed is old and not comfortable. The double bed is small. The window has no screen door. There are walk way to the beach but it is better to go to community beach close by
Location was quite nice.
A 3.5 star 'resort' should offer air conditioned rooms. Not dirty fans in the corner
View, location and restaurant were great. Front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly. However, included breakfasts were worth the pricey stay only if you like overcooked scrambled eggs. Other features, like plumbing and wireless internet service were sub-par and not what I expect from a 'resort'. Impossible to take a decent shower unless all other rooms were empty, as every flush, tap, or water use by other guests turned the water temperature from ice to scalding to ice again every few seconds. Wireless was only barely functional and often could not connect; got a stronger signal from the RV park a kilometre away.
Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff all friendly and helpful. Stayed a week and considered staying another week but found a resort that offered kitchenettes so moved. Great view of the water from a 2nd floor room with patio doors to a small patio. Very nice grounds. Parking security could be a concern as it somewhat separated from the hotel. Located a block off of the main highway which made it quiet. Make sure and bring your binoculars!
