It was easy to get to my destination.
The restaurant/Bar is not very good. They need more TVs that can be seen from the bar. Breakfast was poor.
Staff was responsive
Fitness center was in poor shape. Many pieces of equipment weren't working. The water was shut off at 9 in the morning. This property is old and perhaps you should list the date the facility was built or renovated.
The pool area was very nice as well as the lobby area. The rugs were very worn and old.
The hotel was very old. Our room had damage and rust on the bathroom door. The hotel needed be updated in all areas. The outside was not landscaped and the parking lot was old . The paint was worn off the parking spots.
Willingness to update our room to a suite after complaining.
Receptionist not too relational..just business. I asked to speak to manager who was very understanding and enjoyable. She updated our room to a suite since the assigned room smelled musty and smoke.
Small pool was very smelly
Well maintained and clean.
Pillow were uncomfortable and slow check in process
It was obvious some care had been taken in making the common areas look nice.
The bathroom, which consisted of a toilet and tub, was very small. The sink/vanity was outside of the bathroom, which makes it difficult to get ready for bed if you have others trying to sleep. Mattress on pull out sofa was stained and looked very old.
pool and hot tub and game room
holes in walls, trees held up with bungee cords, dust everywhere, including above food at buffet. room had holes in the walls and chips in the furniture, everything is outdated and worn. pool is only open til 11pm, loud guests all night, TERRIBLE
Variety of activities!
The giant joker heads (clown phobia)
It was quiet.
No refrigerator or microwave and ice machine was broken.
The pool areas were great. Beautiful public areas.
Staff was not helpful - didn't know the lay out of their own hotel to give proper directions to our room. Didn't get luggage cart when requested. Don't like the lounge areas right next to rooms. We had to listen to a loud card game until after midnight.
Location and proximity to Perrysburg and I 75 was great.Waitress in resturant was excellent.. Great in customer service ..
Hotel is in need of an update.. Room as small and very dated.. Surprised Holiday Inn Franchise doesn't require an update.Food in resturant was priced way too high for quality of food. Rating for this hotel should be a 2 at max..
Pools, fun decor
No breakfast of any kind - coffee only. Instead there is a restaurant where you can BUY breakfast buffet for $9 each.
Location next to Starbucks and gas station. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Requested 2 beds. I called to confirm at 6 pm on our arrival evening, stated we would be checking in late ( midnight) was assured of request being met. Arrived midnight to 1 bed room available. Rollaway was provided but not equivalent to 2 beds.
Very attractive decor. Location was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Both rooms we tried smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. Our clothes and luggage had the stale smoke odor even after we left. We were told the rooms were always smoke free, but they probably weren't when the property was owned by another chain.
It was well located for my needs and I stayed there last year. It was well run, clean and convenient.
The staff was amazing, the rooms were very clean. It's a beautiful hotel!!
Great facilities and food
I booked a king deluxe room with a sofa bed and only got a very small king room without a fridge
Restaurant on premises, close to I75
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful
Very comfortable bed and LOVED LOVED the pillows!! It was very quiet and I slept very well.
There was nothing I did not like.
Easy access to interstates. Friendly service.
No free breakfast.
The idea of all the kid activities.
It was so loud till late at night. I was shocked at how that was aloud to continue. The bathroom was dirty and there were so many parties and people in the Hollidome that we could not sit or play the games . The games stole my kids money.
Make sure you ask for an newer remodeled room, just a little advice. Check out the dinner.
bathroom extremely outdated, toilet was so small you could barely sit on it, computer desk chair was uncomfortable and would not adjust, hotel was very noisy, elevators very inconveniently located far from the lobby
it was close to the expressway. I would like to stay a couple of days. it seems like it would be fun.
It had nothing in the room most '3 star' rooms have, microwave, refrigerator, full size bathroom.
This is far from a three star hotel. Sure it has the amenities but it's outdated and run down.
Nothing really. There was a bed to sleep in.
If that is what people consider a 3 star hotel, I feel sorry for them and their expectations. As someone who regularly stays in Ritz Carltons and other five star hotels, the fact this hotel was rated three stars shows a flawed rating system.
The location is excellent.
This hotel was very old and needs updating. The room and bed were both old and the bathroom smelled like mold. There was also mold around the tub caulking.
Very nice waiter,Michael, at t he restaurant.
Depressing room with horrible, overwhelming smell of chlorine from the indoor pools.Awful furniture and rugs.Dark room with insufficient lighting. I wanted to leave as soon as I saw the room.
The room had no access to fresh air. The window looked onto an indoor courtyard.
our server at brunch was wonderful.
It was by far the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in before & I travel quite often. The pool area was open in the middle of the hotel until 11pm so there were people yelling until about 12:30 am. I have young children & it was very difficult to sleep.
The hotel had an easily accessible location.
The hotel was obviously a bit dated, but still nice.
Clean, well located for travelers on I-80/I-90. Located close to lots of restaurants including one of my favorite, Grape Leaf Diner.
Decor a little dated, gym functional, but def pretty old equipment.
It was very close to the highway
They tried to charge me again when I was checking out.
Location and theme. Good Breakfast Buffet.
Immediately placed at the pool area. Open till 11 pm. Chlorine recirculated through the room. Cooling unit did not work well. Very hot and humid. Window shade was torn in half and laying in the corner.
The public areas were nice. From the lobby, it looked like a very fun place for families to bring their kids.
My 'Jacuzzi room' was just a standard bedroom with a bathtub awkwardly placed inside. The keycard reader on the door didn't work. My A/C was FILLED with mold spores. We were told 'free breakfast' at check-in and it was 9 bucks. Broken
Everything but location. Incompetent staff, hotel is old, no elevator, water stained bathroom, ugly Holi-Dome type building that should be bulldozed. Not even close to a 3 star property, not worth the rate that I paid.
Nice interior public areas. Very unique.
Wouldnot rate it 3 stars. Dated and run down rooms.
Completely poorly maintained. The 4 stars is misleading I would have never bid on this place.
After trying 3 rooms, they could not get me a non smoking room. They said because it was Priceline they could not help me.
the hotel location was the best thing about my experience.
Room bathroom & entire room smelled from urine. The stench was so powerful, I had horrible headaches the entire night. Staff was unhelpful yet acknowledged that there were NO fans in the bathroom, exterior windows were sealed and therefore no ventilation.
this is an outdated hotel whose original design concept from the 70's is so disfunctional that the only solution would be to tear the entire structure down. No renovation could resolve such an environment.
Breakfast was good
My room was not clean. The fitness center was laughable.
The hotel looked AMAZING when we walked in and the initial impact of the hotel was very nice.. It all went downhill FAST from there though...
Almost everything. The fact we were in a 3 Star hotel and there were a bunch of loud high school kids.. The fact the room looked more like a dungy motel.. The fact I was lied to by staff.. The cold adult pool.. Having to fight for what I paid for..
My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it is the head quarters for the state's bowling team. The hotel and staff were great and very accomdating! When they say the rooms wont be availalbe until 4 - they mean it. We arrived in town (after a 2 hour drive) around noon. Our room was not ready yet. We went to lunch off site. When we came back, it was about 130 and the room still not ready. We went to our first day of bowling and returned to the hotel around 730 PM. They only had 1 person working the counter and there were about 5 people attempting to check in. We had to wait. The first room they put us in was right beside the kid pool. Not a big deal, but the room was very muggy and the air did not work. We called the front desk and they immediatly were able to get up into a room on the consierge floor. Beautiful room, same price. We went to the restaurant inside the hotel around 830. There were people at tables. There was 1 waitress working the floor. She arrived to us promptly. She took our order. She never came back. The couple we ate with, their food order was incorrect (wong size steak and the burger was blood red inside); my food was ice cold and stale. After an hour the waitress came back to ask if we needed refills on drinks. Everyone at the tabel did. I had water, and she went to fill up my water, but the pitcher she grabbed was chocolate milk. She took my water glass and said she would be right back. It was 15 minutes later when my husband finally went to the bar to get my water refill and the waitress was working behind the bar counter. There was another couple that came into the restaurant behind us who ordered dinner. AT THE SAME TIME the wife's dinner was taken to the table, the waitress said they were all out of whatever meal the husband ordered. Needless to say, the hotel is great and staff is wonderful; the resturant - not so much. They put on a Sunday brunch that is about $18 per person that looked very nice; but we did not attend.
We had problems starting at check-in. What a great start to a family reunion! We were informed at check-in--not when we called the hotel for a block of rooms, but after 5 families had traveled there--that if we paid for the rooms with debit cards, our cards would be debited DOUBLE our charge. When we complained about not having been told that earlier, the staff did nothing but recite, 'It's the bank's policy, not ours.' There was nothing that we could do to communicate that debiting our bank accounts DOUBLE would be a problem! They also promised adjoining rooms on the phone, but claimed not to know what we were talking about upon our arrival, and suggested that we complain to the operator who took our reservation at the 800 number. Because that would do what exactly...? Nice hotel, dingbat staff.
HOliday Inn Holidome is fantastic. 3 pools, all heated, grreat exercise room
