The park was full!!! (Not surprising as there are about 7 parks available for the whole hotel) even if it was included in the price. One receptionist was completely unhelpful and told me: "Sorry but you chose the bad day". Never heard that before, neither in a two stars hotel! More likely the hotel was bad! Room very small for a four stars hotel
Firstly, we received a really good deal on our room, approximately half price the normal rate. Secondly, it is only a 15min drive from Pescara airport and less than a 2 min walk to the heart of shopping and less than 5 min to the beach. It was very clean and the Cafe Plaza was also very nice and tasteful with an air conditioned outside extension.
Although we arrived just after 2pm check-in time, our room was not ready. We had a drink in the Cafe, however I think it would have been nice to offer the drinks as complimentary. We also did not get our wake-up call at 4.15am, and the lift was not working when we were trying to leave thus causing a rush to the airport.It was not clearly indicated (in english at least) if there were stairs to take down which we were willing to do even though we were on the 5th floor, so we had to go back to the room to phone reception. They then told us there was a technical fault and we had to use the service elevator.
