Room was large and well kept.
Hotel is a little run down and tired.
Staff professionalism King size bed. Clean room.
People in the room next door were talking loudly until 2 am! The first night I got absolutely no sleep. It required a cab ride to get to my conference at the Conference Center.

The historical feel of the Morris house was very unique. The courtyard was beautiful to look at in the evening. The baked goods were delicious at breakfast time and the warm cookies in the afternoon was scrumptious.
Wish we could have sat in the courtyard & relaxed with a glass of wine.I had a problem with the bathroom-slow filling tank. When you're leaving for a 6:00am Dr's. Appointment you don't need ANY delays!I reported it but nothing was done. The staff was wonderful but I do wish they had done something about the bathroom. It was very convenient for our hospital appointment.
This was a historical and charming find with a lot of character. My room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The afternoon hot cookies were a hit and were great with the freshly brewed coffee. I enjoyed the morning contiential breakfast.
Prior to my stay, I had read reviews about the train noise nearby. Okay, I experienced it and it was not bad. It did not keep me from getting a good night's rest.As stated above, this was a positive experience. This was obtained at a great rate, so well worth it's value. If in the area again, I would certainly opt to stay here again.

The staff was very friendly! I am not familiar with the area so they were very helpful with directions & suggestions. 1 even flagges down a cab for me since im from a suburban area & not used to the whole public transit thing. The hotel is also directly across from the parking garage which was convenient & the hotel is surrounded by many shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Also not to many blocks from maim attractions like liberty bell & love park.
Our room was absolutely freezing & there is no way to control the temperature. The 2nd night we told the front desk who said they can control it from outside the rooms & she would take care of it but our room was still freezing so since it was summer we kept the windows up while we were there in hopes of letting the cool air out & some warm air in. Also when we booked the room it was cheaper then others cuz it said exterior bathroom. We didnt know exactly what it meant so went ahead. Turns out it literally means our hotel room had no bathroom & we had to exit our room & walk a few steps then round a corner to get to a bathroom in view of the whole hallway with other rooms which only our room key opens. It wasnt to bad expect the bathroom is tiny, really only room inside to take 1 step & u have to make sure no1s in the hall & dash back to your room if your in a towel or dont want to be seen for any reaaon. So I do not recommend for the ellderly or children but since my friend & I were not planning to be in the hotel much during our stay it was fine for the price
I way over paid for room. Very small. No chair or desk. Did have refrig microwave and coffee maker. Internet severwas sometime difficult to use. Not a very good experience.

The location was amazing with onsite parking for a very reasonable price for a city center. Rooms were a good size and the pool was nice (on 7th floor with nice breeze all the time & pool attendant). Very friendly staff.
Wi-Fi was offered but not readily available for some reason. This is the premier spot for any sight-seeing in Philadelphia. Central to Logan Square (city hall) and Rittenhouse district (restaurants), a nice walk to the museum district, Independence Hall, Reading Terminal Market, Society Hill and the Waterfront. Easy city driving to Please Touch Museum and zoo. The best hotel for the price, amenities and location - bar none. Would look to stay here first for any future Philly visits.
Great value and location. Hotel is in good shape. Staff was accomodating and friendly. Breakfast was very decent. They also have a parking garage if you are bringing a car.
Rooms need some updating- which they are in the process of doing and they have the new designs displayed on an easel in the lobby- which I thought was a very nice idea.
