Convenient location with easy access to Philadelphia center city and north of the city. Several chain restaurants close by for meals (walking distance or short drives). Nice room. Quiet. I was solo but I noticed lots of families in addition to business like travelers.

Wifi didn't seem to work that well and if I stayed longer this would probably have bothered me. However, cell phone reception was great so it worked out.

The parking situation SUCKS. Be prepared for either LONG walks for your car or the expense of valet parking. The long flight of stairs to the lobby is a challenge for the elderly. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Its a bad sign when u pull up to the place and there are people just hanging out in front of it. The front desk person greeted me when I came in which was nice. But it was only because she was not sitting at the front desk and saw that I was very confused. Check-in was easy, the front lady answered all my questions about parking and food places. Second bad sign occurred right after on my way to the elevator. I get in first thing it is covered in mirrors. I'm me 360 mirrors. Which would be bad but they look like they were from the '70s. The elevator buttons were also missing the cover to it. I get up to my floor, the good thing it smelled nice which gave me some hope. Get to my room stick the key in the door, which by the way is an actual key, and find a clean but dilapidated room. The couch had stains, the wall was recently patched up but not painted. The cover to the night table draw was completely missing. I couldn't force myself to take a shower because the tub had a leaky facet and stained the tub as it dripped over the metal. I could tell if the stains where just from the water or if it had not been cleaned. There was also a lovely insect crawling around the water. The bed was hard I could feel the springs. I also could force myself to sleep under the covers. I wore my sweatshirt and covered my legs with a bathroom towel. I turned off the a/c b/c I was cold which may have been a mistake b/c now I could smell stale cigarettes. The last creepy thing that happened was after returning the iron to the front desk (no irons allowed in the iron, u have to pay a deposit to use it thats returned to you) a man gets in the elevator with me then follows me near my room he pretends to be in the room next door. I say pretends b/c I was having trouble with my key and before I open my door he doesn't go into the room he turns around and walks back to elevator. So I end up putting a chair near the door and sleeping with light on that was closest to the door. Any I guess what I'm saying if your going to get a hotel in philly this is what $70 a night will get you. Thank God I only had to stay less than 12 hours.

nothing.

everything was terrible. the lady at the front desk was extremely rude, she argued with me about a request that I had included in my reservation. the room was a disgrace. I felt cleaner before I showered in the shower after being at a music festival all day. I don't care how cheap a room is, it should NOT look/smell like that.

The bed was not supportive and uncomfortable but overall the hotel was fun and not your typical hotel.  I loved the room layout and was very clean.

The Aloft hotel is something different - the room layout is unconventional, if you're used to a more 'typical' property, but I loved it. There's a serve-yourself sandwich and snack shop onsite- good stuff for what it is. When I wanted something more formal for lunch or dinner, I walked 100 yards to the Sheraton or FourPoints - both are closeby. The only downside was the in-room HVAC system was looouuuud. Otherwise I would hit this hotel with a higher rating. Still, it's a cool place to stay, right by the airport and close to SEPTA (trains).

The staff was VERY accommodating. We needed a pack and play for our grandson and they brought one for us no charge and even offered to set it up. They also brought him some milk when we ran low. Wonderful staff. They even told us that when we return our rental cars that if we call them from the airport they send someone would bring us back to the hotel so the we didn't have to worry about it beore our 7am flight.

Price was a little steep.

The worst hotel I can ever recall staying in. It was dirty, smelled bad, and security was bad.

The room smelled of disinfectant. The HVAC smelled so bad of mildew we couldn't use it. The towel rack in the bathroom was rusty. The TV picture was washed out, too light to enjoy. The bathroom paint had hairs stuck in it. Molding peeling off the bathroom mirror. The maid stole my wife's medication out of her suitcase. Hookers were working the hotel at hourly stays. Someone (homeless looking) slept in a chair in the lobby both nights.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
