Rude staff sheets with cigarette burns on em
The room had a kitchenette and everything you need
The manager was rude and didn't even help when they got busy. The room smelled like smoke and asked for nonsmoking
No housekeeping services daily. Found an empty liquor bottle in my room although no housekeeping services Were provided. Felt violated and unsafe.
The atmosphere. Was given a smoking room even after i asked for a non-smoking.
Good price and value. Comfortable enough.
Customer service was very sloppy. I arrived close to 1:00AM to check in for my reservation. There was a telephone outside with directions to call the front desk to be let in. My fiance was on that phone 20 minutes with no answer before asking me to try on my cell phone. After 3 attempts on my cell phone, I reached someone who I thought was local who informed me that she would send someone out. After another 15 minutes of waiting I started trying again on my cell phone while my fiance continued to call with the hotel phone located outside the front door. This time I reached a different representative and it was at this point that I could see someone coming out to greet me. We were outside for a total of 35 minutes attempting to reach someone to be let in the building so we could check in. The rep was not very apologetic and mentioned that she could not hear her phone ringing. Her appearance was not professional and her response to our long wait outside in the middle of the night was not adequate. A simple "I am so sorry about that" would have been great. From there, we went to our room which was not the correct lay out. I had reserved a "Studio with one queen bed" and we were assigned a room with two full size beds. After the initial hassle of just getting checked in I did not want to try to get the right room. In the morning, a housekeeping attendant walked into my room unannounced while I was dressing. She was plenty apologetic and mentioned that her paperwork said we had checked out and I explained to her that we were not checking out until the next day. At this, I did call to speak with a rep and she informed me that the night I checked in, the rep was not able to "officially" check me in and that is why there was a lack of communication with housekeeping. All in all, my stay was less than satisfactory, mostly due to the guest service and a lack of communication. I do hope that this was a random event and is something that does not happen often. The experience was unpleasant and frustrating.
