Handy to airport and had an hourly shuttle. As we live too far away to catch an early morning flight, it fit our needs for flying.
Facility is pretty run down in a section that doesn't invite exploration on foot. Room was very cramped and lacked outlets for today's connected traveler. Would probably stay again, will keep looking for better.
Location was fine
Room was filthy dirty, no waste basket, bathroom smelled like urine, tv was old and you needed to be very close for the remote to work, and you needed to press very hard. I have pictures of the filth if anyone wants them
there is not a single positive thing to say about this place.
the staff were extremely rude and incompetent. They claim to have never received a reservation although we had the confirmation printed out. the manager then proceeded to tell us that he was going to charge us four times as much. I just believe that he was charging us more because it was super Bowl weekend and he was mad that we got a good deal online. When I tried to reason with him he was very disrespectfuland very unprofessional. The Howard Johnson corporation should be very ashamed that this hotel has been ran into the ground in the management sucks.Everything was filthyand outdated.I felt very unsafe the door lock was not very efficient. no decent human being should be staying here. I guarantee it would not pass a health inspection.after much grief we decided to move hotels. It was much more worth it to pay much more money to stay in a hotel that was much nicer. This hotel needs to be shut down. There is no possible way it is up to code and is ran in manners that the Howard Johnson would want. shame on the owners / manager for running such a terrible hotel and having such terrible customer service.if I could give this hotel a negative score that would much more reflect my actual opinion of this place
Danny was great. He helped us when we needed a room at 1:30 am. He was able to help us in the am with a taxi to our next location. We will be in Phoenix in a few months and will plan on staying there again. Room was clean and very quiet.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location was convenient for our purposes. The hotel was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
near to the airport
Close to the airport. Perfect for stop overs. Clean rooms, ok breakfast.
Hotel was very old and run down for the price. The pictures on line are different from real life. Windows at rear were very old and not secure. no air in back room and batrhroom. Stifling hot. I would vever stay there again.
