The bed was comfortable and having a kitchenette was convenient. The fridge and real plates were nice for leftovers. The tv was a nice flat screen with plenty of channels. The location was perfect for local wineries. Continental breakfast was adequate. Staff was very friendly. Pool looked well maintained but we did not use it.
The curtains provided privacy but were only one thick layer that made the room dark. It would have been nice to have a thin curtain as well for some privacy that also allowed light into the room. A small issue was that the fridge was set to the warmest setting so food actually wouldn't stay fresh very long without adjusting. Floors were a little squeaky.
The gal at the front desk, Yvonne, was super friendly. The motel was just darling, overall. The grounds were neat and clean and though we didn't swim, the pool and pool area appeared clean and and well maintained.
The television didn't have a channel guide. Seriously, that's not a big deal, Just something I noticed. The only real issue was that the coffee maker needed to be cleaned. The filter tray and the water reservoir were not clean and both had a film on them. I am not picky, in general, but this Is ONE of those things about which I AM picky. Probably, it just needs a god cleaning with a dish brush and a run through with white vinegar a few times.
