3 rooms only. All rooms are simple in their design, but not wanting in creature comforts, with local hardwood floors, high ceilings, white walls, with a wall of yellow or black where appropriate, and art. Each has a bathroom with shower, fresh towels and bed linen and each has views over the busy Bangniew junction of Phuket town, and its green-red changing lights.
Whilst some internal features were kept, the interior was necessarily made anew due to the wood rotting away and feasted on by white ants… . Locally sourced hardwood floorboards were used to rebuild the second floor and the internal volume was amplified to create a spacious and airy feel. The interior is designed simply, without superfluous adornments or overly obvious Thai motifs that is in the decorative vocabulary of many a popular “ Thai “ setting. Instead, a contemporary, clean approach is applied, allowing the visitor to enjoy the space, and the location.
