Loved the location. Nice room for the price
No indoor pool
At first I thought I was booking at the other Ramada property because we prefer rooms with interior access. This property uses exterior doors, because it is of the older style. However, the event we were attending was a short walk across the parking lot, so it turned out for the better. It is older, so the carpets and bathroom walls showed signs of wear. But it was clean and adequate for the money. The internet access was spotty. The breakfast was standard. The staff was very friendly. Because it is so family oriented, and the majority of the guests were mature people like us, we didn't end up feeling uncomfortable due to the exterior door. I would stay here again to attend the same event.
Employees were the best team I have ever stayed with
Need eggs and bacon on the free breakfast
we needed 3 beds and found this hotel had a suite with 2 bedrooms which was perfect since I was traveling with my son and his family and wanted my own room. the gentlemen who work the desk when we checked in was great he was very professional and friendly.
the free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but they did give us a ticket for free breakfast next door at the pancake house for the entire family. I woke up the first morning find that my room had ants on the nightstand and later I found them in my bed. on our way out that morning at 9 a.m. I informed the front desk of the problem and they aassured me they would call an exterminator and have the sheets changed on my bed. I also asked for more towels and washcloths but when we returned at 9 pm beds had not even been made an ant problem was worse. I called the front desk to complain and someone came up a few minutes later to change the sheets on the bed and she brought a can of bug spray. she remarked that it was likely no one cleaned the room because I had complained about ants that morning.
The location was perfect!!! Right in the heart of pigeon forge, walking distance to Dixie stampede and many restaurants! Also not a far drive from gatlinburg :)
Need to shampoo carpets... Looked clean but after walking on them for a bit your feet turned black :p
