the hotel is super noisy, cannot sleep at all
Clean. Quiet. Good access to public transportation.
The guy working the desk was very rude. When he had trouble finding my reservation confirmation and I tried to assure him I had a pre paid reservation he raised his voice and became argumentative without cause.Overall I had a good experince. The hotel is an older hotel, but clean and the bed was compfortable. Overall I was pleased with my stay.
A bit noisy at night. This hotel was fine for a temporary stay. No frills, good location.
Very clean, everything was reall nice. The staff were all very polite and friendly.
Alarm clock didn't work properly.I stayed here one night (Sept 4th) because I had a professional singing gig nearby in Reisterstown. I thought the Howard Johnson was excellent. It wasn't far from where I needed to be, there was a McDonald's right across the street, and my room was clean and almost everything worked fine. Only exception was the alarm clock, which didn't display the time correctly (not a big deal, I used my iPad to wake me up). The air conditioning was super cold (I actually needed to turn it down), and there were 4 pillows on my bed of varying firmness. The breakfast was nice, coffee/juices, bagels, toast, English muffins, and various cereals. Excellent value, they have a xxx special Sunday-Thursday. You really can't beat that. I also want to point out that the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff were friendly.
The hotel smells. I belive the nonsmoking rooms had been smoked in. It was not very clean at all.The staff were friendly but the people in the hotel rooms were shady and begging for money. The hotel smelled and so did the rooms. I would not stay there again.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Well we changed rooms because the ground floor room we had initially that faced the pool area only had one screw holding the aluminum window casing in. All the of screws were missing except for one. We asked for a room change and got it.The hotel is on a main street with easy access to 695. Free breakfast was standard fare in clean well kept enclosed room. Parking was convenient to room. It was just what we were looking for, a place to stay while we took care of some family business. I would use the facility again if were down that way.
Nice staff, room itself was better than overall hotel. Continental (cold) breakfast was acceptable.
Hotel is old, yet they keep it presentable. Manual front door is an indication of things to come inside. This is an economy hotel. They have an outdoor pool, which is very shallow and difficult to swim in, but it is a plus in those hot Baltimore summer days when you want to just cool off. The foreign staff is friendly. No frill breakfast was acceptable. Probably better to invest a few more dollars and go to a more modern hotel if you can. Urban element.
At least the ac worked
No wifi insisted it worked but I took many screen shots of it not working. Had to up my data plan while there pool closed nvr opened we cls today and was told was opened bird popp down window couldn't even open curtain. Parking hard while church next doo.Filthy place No elevator had to keep climbing stairs. Half the plugs didn't work the ones did didn't have covers on them. Holes in blanket. Crack in corner of window. Worst place ever stayed in.
