I was able to get a room at the last second
Looked like black mold around the bathtub fixtures, they only put decafinated coffee in my room
The front desk clerk was so nice and tried to be so helpful because we had so many issues with our rooms.
We had 5 rooms. In one the toilet didn't work. In two rooms the phones did not work. In one room there was a cockroach crawling on the wall and there was a fishhook stuck in the carpet. And in another room an occupant saw a mouse. They were not at all prepared for our arrival. We had 5 rooms with 4 people in each room, that is 20 people. The hotel had these reservations weeks before our arrival and they ran out of towels (why wouldn't housekeeping have run an extra load). The hotel ran out of body soap. The front desk clerk almost thought they didn't have enough room keys left for us and had to call the manager. The manager had to tell her where the rooms keys were hidden. The lobby and breakfast area smelled very badly of cigarettes. All the bathrooms smelled like urine. The lady working the continental breakfast did not expect our lar...
This hotel was dirty, noisy, and I was double-charged. This is the first time I've ever cancelled a hotel and left, and it took all of 10 minutes...There was a hip hop dance party happening in the front lounge, so there were kids running through the halls while I was checking in. I told the girl at the counter that I'd made an internet reservation, but she took my card and charged it again anyways. I got to the room, and it was two queens instead of a king. The carpet was filty, had marijuana stems ground into it, and my wife killed a roach in the bathroom. I went downstairs to ask for a refund, but the girl at the desk assured me they could get me a quality room. She sent me to a room across the hall from the first room. This was just as dirty as the other room, had bloodstains on the mattress you could see through the sheets, and there was a live wasp hanging out on the windowsill. I brought the wasp back downstairs with me, and they swiftly refunded...
The room was mildew-smelling. It was like the room had flooded but not cleaned thoroughly after. There was only on person staffing the front desk and the wait was quite lengthy. The lobby was also very loud because of the music from the bar.
The room we made reservations for a month in advance had already been occupied by the Hotel before our arrival. The housekeeping didn't clean our room for the three days we stayed, even after being asked to.smelled of marijuana. The Savannah Conference Hotel shouldn't even be on pricelines listings.
Room smelled BAD.....no chairs...1 small garbage can refrigerator almost feel off shelfTerrible room....will NOT stay there again
for the price, it was adequate.
old saying, you get what you pay for.needs upgrading and re-modeling
The pictures on the web did not show how these rooms really look. This hotel room was very poor , the bed spreads had cigarette burns on both bed all over, the room was smelly , and bathroom toilet and shower had mold and mildew all over.My family couldn't stay at this hotel so we checked out as soon we saw this very nasty room and the type people staying there looked like trouble . We had to find a hotel in Richmond hill which was further away , but very nice.
