The customer service was horrible, specially, the person at the front desk. She was very rude. I asked her for a bottle of water to do a cup of coffee and she just replied ' really... you have to be joking '.. I strongly believe that they have no sense of professionalism to work in the hospitality field. Finally, they did my room and did not trash the garbage neither change the tower that were in the floor. Instead, they put them back in the shower. Overral, Horribe !!
We went there for my son's graduation from Parris Island. I reserved a non-smoking room with a refrigerator as advertised. The room was a smoking room with no refrigerator. There were no toiletries in the room when we arrived - no soap! The sheets were not fitted and kept coming off the mattress. There were not enough towels and the towels were worn and very thin. The breakfast bar was cheap sweets and watery juice. The smell of the cheap air freshener to mask the smell of smoke was nauseating. I got sick. The check-in person barely grunted at me. I do not recommend this place.
stayed for my friends marine graduation nice clean rooms bed very comfy friendly and knowledgable staff
Roaches in room what else is there to say. Dirty little roaches
I enjoyed my stay; noise was minimal, service was great and room was neat and clean.

despite of reviews decided to stay because of the price and location. also needed for one night only. i was surprised to see how well maintained hotel it was, except some minor things which i could live with. my room was nice and clean staff was friendly and helpful
It is what you pay for cheap so the hotel and service is cheap bed sheets were dirty and stained and the room smelled old and rotten. But it is what you pay for. People partying upstairs and you can hear the footsteps if you are sleeping downstairs and hear the people next to you, snoring or what ever it is that they are doing not private at all. I will never stay here again.
There was someone else's food containers left in the refriderator. The shower was dirty. The towels were dingy. Hair was everywhere! I will never stay there again! I checked the reviews after booking. I will never make that mistake again.
the room was very cold; took a very long time to become warm (12 hours); sleeping area was dirty; alarm clock broken; coffee pot was so dirty it was unuable; all with a late arrival; the next day items were rectified; replacement alarm clock was very dirty- like something you wouild take from your garage; receptionist was extremely pleasant, helpful and understanding; would not stay again security lock on door was mounted incorrectly which provided no security
We were supposed to have a no-smoking room. The room wreaked of stale smoke. When I asked for another room, they offered me a can of room deodorizer. The shower drain was clogged, the carpet was dirty and we barely slept at all because the bed was a disaster.

We only had one problem with Super 8 and that was one of the pipes burst in our room the night before we were leaving. The clerk offered us another room but we turned it down. We did not want to pack all of our things up at 9:00p and move to another room, unpack, sleep, and repack at 6:00a. She tried to be very accommodatable and it was much appreciated. Otherwise, the staff was friendly. Parking was easy. They even wrote out directions to the library and to the Savannah Airport for us.\n\nMy youngest son was disappointed at not being able to enjoy the pool ,but I wasn't
We stayed at the Super 8 for my son's graduation from Parris Island. It was a short distance away. We eventually found we had many places to choose from to eat, a bowling alley up the street, and a shopping center across the way. The folks behind the desk at the hotel were friendly. They were prompt in getting a room prepared for my new Marine when he checked in. They even provided spoons so we can eat our ice cream! We enjoyed the continental breakfast. An added surprise that made us laugh--I opened my eyes after we turned the lights out, and there were glow in the dark stars on our ceiling! My bed was comfortable, after I removed the mattress cover (It bunched up when I moved). It was left off at my request.\n\nThe kids were a bit disappointed the pool area was not available, as they were enjoying the beautiful weather (there was a snowstorm up home), and the girls wanted to get some sun.\n\nMy only complaints would be 1--the non-smoking room I had was wall to wall with the smoking room, so some residual smoking smell was in my room. 2--The tub and back of the toilet appeared to be surface cleaned , but not scrubbed. The tub lacked a plug, so we could not fill the tub to bathe. 3--Fresh coffee cups and packet of coffee were not provided once they were used the first day. I am sure they would have been if I had asked, though. The used coffee cup was just put back in the rack (I knew it was the same because of a crack on the bottom). Otherwise, the place was clean--even behind the headboards! (a news show once showed how to check for bedbugs--none here!).
I booked the room based on another's review. Not used to smoking rooms as Ohio is basically a not a smoker friendly state. Take your air freshner. Other than that the room was fine if you are looking for a no frills place to stay. Very close to Parris Island. After the Marine graduation we stayed and visited Fripp Island, Hunting Island and Hilton Head Island. This room worked great for what we needed.
cozy and comfortable beds, friendly staff, neat and clean rooms,
I was a little nervous when I saw it had an overall rating of a 1 - but glad we stayed. Everyone was pleasant and helpful- close to Parris Island and that's what Marine Families need when coming from long distances for
