clean friendly and quite
weird observation, toilet really was too low for the elderly
very clean, new furnishings, convenient location, complimentary breakfast was better than the average
Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable
No receipt was emailed to us after the stay, as they said it would be. No one at the front counter when we arrived to check in, or on the morning we needed to check out
Bed looked clean and comfy, Temperature control worked fine (really hot/cold in the hallway was wierd). Nice dining area, jacuzzi was decent (little dirty)
channels didn't match description, bath was dirty, loud, they didn't know what they were having for breakfast (which is a lie, nearly every breakfast offering hotel will know, they have breakfast schedules they can check). Grumpy associates. Slow Internet
Even though my room was next to the elevator, it was very quiet.
No hot tub.
the comfortable bed and the cleanliness.
I thought I would like the idea of an electronic receipt but when i checked my bank account I was overcharged $22.51 and $50 for incidentals.Hopefully it will along with the error charge then when I called the and have not heard anything ye
It's location was great to experience Chicago, Indiana Dunes and the Southern Michigan Shoreline. The Hotel was 5 minutes from the train station to get to chicago, was 5 minutes to Indiana Dunes State Park. Hotel was very clean.
Stayed in a room that had an adjoined door to the room next to it. Found this to increase the noise level. Had to put things at the bottom crack of the door to minimize noise from adjoined room. Stayed for 5 days and had issues with our TV not working.
Two queen size beds. Staff was very good, rooms very comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Not big, however it was not crowded. Towels available in the pool area. Has a continental breakfast, very good choices like bagels, sausage, yogurt, cereals, juices, etc. I would stay again at this hotel!
I was surprised at the updated hotel and its proximity to some of the best restaurants. Friendly and cooperative staff made the experience a good one. I'll stay there next time I'm in the area.
We have stayed at the Hampton many times. Always have the best service. Very friendly and the kids love the pool.
Just stayed for five days. Clean facility, friendly staff, pool and excercise, good convenient location, nice (not great but nice) breakfast. A little more than what you might expect. Here and Spring House Inn are best choices in Portage.
The Hampton Inn at Portage was a great place to stay. The suite ( and entire inn) was clean and had a good amount of space. The bathroom was very clean. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful.
