Clean and quiet with location that suited my requirements for travel to and from the Rose Garden for WWDB Free Enterprise Days!
They wore read modeling three floors of the hotel , We were without water from 10 AM until 4 PM for three days , They were doing something new the ceiling in the hallway Jeanette plastique and plastic pipe and stuff hanging down on three of the four
The suite we had was very nice. Handy to have a restaurant right in the same parking lot.
Staff initially could not find our reservation. Chose the hotel because it advertised an airport shuttle...upon arrival we were informed that the shuttle ran Mon-Fri only (we needed the shuttle early Saturday morning). Cab cost was approx. $25.
Good location and had microwave and mini-fridge in the room. Reasonably comfortable bed as far as 2-star hotels go. Nothing fancy but adequate. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good wireless internet connection.
Undergoing renovation, so noisy, dusty, and not real clean with all the construction junk laying around. Very small bathroom and not particularly well-appointed room, but then again, it is a 2-star. Breakfast not very good; food was low quality.
When I experienced problems the front counter staff at least tried their very best to fix things. However overall the stay was not the best and I won't be returning.
On the first day I was away the entire day and got back around 6 & found that the room wasn't cleaned. Room was partially done after I complained but next day again problems. Took 2 days (out of 4) before room was properly done. Expected much better.
Not clean, public spaces and room smelled.
Great breakfast! Room was clean and had everything you would want in a room: tv, Wi-Fi, microwave, frig, sofa, desk
A/C was effective, but a bit noisy. We were there 3 nights and they didn't come to clean the room until the 3rd day.
The staff was friendly and professional.
The pic that is shown is from far away and does not depict what it actually looked like. The liquor store with meth heads hanging out. To get to the MAX line you have to walk under two freeway overpasses, 3 open fields, very sketchy at night walking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were small and somewhat dated.
staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean
the renovations were somewhat disruptive and saw dust was prevalent as the construction was taking place right across the hall
Mgmt was really nice. They allow dogs, which was also nice.
TV wasn't great
Large rooms. 24 hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Free breakfast.
Central heating system had the room too warm.
The room wasn't very clean. The door wouldn't close easily because the door frame was splintered. There was some kind of crud splattered in the sink area and above. The blanket had visible goo on it so I slept without it.
Easy access to I5, close to basic shopping and restaurants
This hotel was very run down and dirty.
Close to our destination... Good breakfast...clean room..lots of parking
Small room...uncomfortable pillows ...bed soso
Close to Portland Meadows race track
small breakfast area, shower difficult to turn on
comfortable, clean, fridge, location, friendfly stasff.
bed wasnt as comfortable as i would have liked.
very good value, large room, ample breakfast selections
everything was OK
Power out for 4.5 hrs and only a glow stick to see with. Bedbugs. when smashed they were full of blood. They did change our room for the second night, but if there are bedbugs in one room, they are throughout. The room smelled like dogs.
The breakfast was very good. The TV is new and had a good variety of programs
The shower in my room was so hard to turn I had to use both hands ( I bench press 200#). A car was broken into right after I arrived. I was double charged on my card. The front desk seemed confused when I showed my reservation they did not have it
It was a very convenient location for me. I was doing a trade show at the expo center. I liked that there were plenty of options for meals within walking distance. (elmers was basically sharing the same parking lot) For the money it was a great stay.
The room was pretty dated and the ceiling had a couple water damage spots but the ac worked good, the mini fridge was a nice addition for a room at this rate. The breakfast they served was not my speed and I didn't eat it. Eggs looked like mush.
the friendly staff an location
not at all
The staff is really nice Felt safe here.
I did pick this hotel for it's airport shuttle. Website didn't state that the shuttle had recently been discontinued on weekends, but the light rail got me there.
The hotel clerk was very rude in fact i called the corporate office an made a complaint 'reason some I work with came by to see me an decided to rent a room the clerk refused based on the fact they were a little dirty but they had just come from work
I tried to explain this to the clerk an he told me he thought they were homeless drugies. We'll it embarrassed my friends an ne as well so I checked out after only being there an hour an I'm req u eating a refund
FREE BREAKFAST WAS PRETTY GOOD. THERE WERE A VARIETY OF BREAKFAST ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM.
FACILITY HAD A SMELL. MATTRESS WAS TOO SOFT.
Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast included both hot and cold options. The hotel was within walking distance to Trimet rail.
Breakfast is good and the location is convenient.
The lobby is ok and looks like it's been update but the elevator is old and smell so bad and dirty. The room is not very clean either, TV is old, coffee maker is dirty. WiFi is very very slow. Air conditioner is very loud.
The price was reasonable and the location was great. We were happy that there was a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. met our expectations for a two star hotel.
The hallway smelled of smoke, but that is not enough to cause us not to stay again.
Construction going on in front and back - very noisy. Small rooms. Very close to the freeway, but getting onto it during rush hour took forever to move only a few hundred feet.
Room was larger than expected. Had a small microwave and refrigerator, a surprise. Breakfast was pretty good, but extremely crowded. Rates were reasonable.
Very small bed. No movie channels or DVD player.
The breakfast had a good variety. The operations manager was prompt in fixing issues and courteous.
One of the main reasons I booked it was for the shuttle, which I later learned only runs from 7-3 (info not posted anywhere). Also, I purposely paid more for a non-smoking room. My room was at the end of a smoking hallway. The smell was TERRIBLE.
The breakfast was nice and staff was very friendly.
Our room was clean, but smelled of orange cleaning solution so bad it gave you a headache. The bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep on.
Convenient to PIR
The entire place reeked of smoke, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, & after my foot stuck to the carpet in my room I didn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off at all. Pretty disgusted with this property.
Room was everything I'd expect.
Not enough room in breakfast area for the people.
Staff was courteous.
Filthy run down and a mattress so old it has holes. Impossible to sleep. Blood stains running down the side of the mattress. Piles of dust blowing out of the bathroom fan. NOT A TWO STAR. Worse motel I have ever stayed in.
The hotel tried to upcharge us for asking for twin beds rather than a king or queen. This despite the fact that my Priceline confirmation said that the room would accommodate two persons and a king, queen, or two doubles were the options! Outrageous!
Location and shuttle service was awesome.
Room was Linda's old and dingy
clean and good value
incorrect aminities listed. there is no pool sauna or hot tub
Access to freeway, decent breakfast
Smelly Carpets, Smoking room - horrible smell
Smelled like smoke.
Everything was what the advertizement said. We were visiting family, so we wanted a place to rest and relax. There was not a pool or hot tub.
Booked a single room with a queen bed. Room was neat, clean and larger than expected with appropriate traveling amenities. Had windows that could be opened to let out cigarette smoke (I am a smoker). Air conditioning, television, etc. were in good working condition. Mattress was not as firm as I would like it to be but comfortable. Shuttle to and from the airport was quick/driver and check-in was fast, efficient and friendly. Location is close to cental rail system to downtown and good restaurant and convenience store within walking distance.
Easy to find location, free WiFi, restaraunts nearby, and a small convenience store within walking distance. Good staff, decent breakfast, comfortable room, free USA today paper. Would definitely stay again. Good value for the price!
very nice staff, pet friendly hotel with well designed handicaped room. They even had the luggage cart outside my room in the morning.
