The cleanliness and the breakfast provided by the hotel.
Bed was a little stiff.
Breakfast was good staff will make sure to you had or need anything
The room & furnishings were great! Manager's reception & the breakfast were really great. Front desk staff could have been friendlier.
Front desk staff could have been friendlier & a little more helpful. Food service staff was good.
If hotels / motels / condos near Port A., Rockport or Corpus are booked, this is a VERY convenient location since it only takes a few minutes to drive to any of the aforementioned locations. The hotel is clean, safe, & has great amenities.
This hotel is mediocre at best. Staff is friendly and rooms are comfortable but lots of maintenance is being overlooked. Plumbing needs work, draperies missing a hook, wifi signal is weak, towels are threadbare and stained, coffee not replenished by housekeeping, etc. etc. Not up to Hampton Inn standards but OK for a night or two.
I expected more for the price of this hotel. There were some really nice features, and the room was clean, but attention to detail to make the stay enjoyable were just missing. \n\nThis hotel has a great pool spa and sauna area, but the towels were short in supply and really small.\n\nThe breakfast was so bad (after advertising a full hot breakfast) that we did not even eat there. The breakfast area was full, no place to sit. And the food was.. well gone. For hot food there was one lonely biscuit, and a steamer of sausage patties. That is it... nothing more. On the cold side it was bread and muffins, and cereal. Most hotels with a continental breakfast have more. And with no place to sit, we just left. \n
