The room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff I interacted with were friendly and highly attentive. There was a fine breakfast available right in the hotel lobby which helped to make up for what I considered to be a slightly odd location; not easyThe hotel exceeded my expectations, particularly given the substantial Priceline discount.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
Literally right at the airport. Construction going on. Parking sparse. Had to park in back, but walk around to front to get inside every time...
Hotel was fine. I thought it would be downtown Portland though as my son was staying at Hilton Garden Inn downtown.
Only one elevator with a 'group' there made it very hard to get to our room. At Happy Hour no one to be found to serve cocktails. The HVAC system in our room was so loud we could barely sleep.Overall a very nice experience...this was a 'night before travel' stay near the airport so expectations were limited to just a comfy bed to sleep in - other than the very loud in-room HVAC we got what we wanted.
room smelled like smoke. Breakfast looked bad for $11.95 buffet. I was not impressed especially paying top price. The room smelled like someone smoked in it. I called ahead for 2 double beds and they didn't have a record of it. Breakfast looked bad for $11.95 buffet. I was not impressed especially paying top price for a 3 Star hotel.
Fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee/maker.
I found a prescription pill in plain sight near the cushion of the easy chair. I googled it to find it was for high cholesterol and had some dangerous side effects. It was right at eye level for a toddler who would would probably put it in its mouth.Nice but lacking in character. Housekeeping standards need to be improved. Bed was very comfortable, AC worked beautifully, and Keurig coffee in morning was pleasant. I thought it had a light breakfast included in the price but it wasn't offered.
Fast and clean and quiet!
Breakfast was unappealing but not a major issue if you have a car and can drive elsewhere for breakfast. Like most hotels they have lumpy pillows.Breakfast is a buffet with the standard hotel food for $12 a person. Instead we took advantage of Bintliff's cafe, only 5-10 minute drive away. I was initially put into a room with 2 double beds, even though I was told over the phone that I would have a room with a king bed. I asked the front desk about it and they moved me into a king room immediately. Security could be better: my room swipe cards got scrambled, and front desk reprogrammed them which is great for me, but all I had to do was tell them my room number. It is disturbing that anybody can use that trick to gain access to any room.
Limited entries and exits from the hotel. Access from parking lot required that that you walk around the whole hotel to get to the front entrance.
The room was huge. There was plenty of room to move around. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for us. We had an early flight out and it was just 2 minutes to the airport.
The hotel is a bit dated. The front desk staff did say they would be updating the rooms in the near future.
