Airport shuttle, friendly, breakfast, fridge, microwave, hairdryer. Would stay here again if needed.

Can be noisy depending on what type of guests are staying. Not in the best part of town although the Ramada itself is nice though. On the ground level the air conditioner unit was blowing air up into the curtains which defied the purpose a bit. Also there wasn't enough electrical outlets by the bed because the fridge and microwave and lamp were using the same socket. We noticed later on in the week when we returned, and had a room on the third level, that a multiple plug in socket was used, this was helpful. ( I like to plug in my cell-phone close to the bed) Alarm clock did not go off on the appointed time... and yes we double checked that we had set it right.

Close to the freeway, close to everything, convenient, daily breakfast, non-smoking.

The parking - 4 parking lots, but the best 2 parking lots closer to the hotel were always full. Saw pets at the hotel and the hotel does not advertise that it is pet friendly.

Nothing

Everything

Curtains dirty. Bathroom door would not close. Facet unit about to fall off. Cigarette holes in bedspread (in a non-smoking room). This barely merits 1 star.

Housekeeping ladies were friendly and provided us with extra towels when requested. Front desk lady offered a late check-out if we needed.

Everything. The room was dirty and rundown as well the hotel itself. Felt dirty and itchy just being in the room, even after showering. Free internet did not work. No window screen/broken bath room door frame. Water turned extremely hot while showering.

Breakfast consisted of a couple of different packaged pastries, coffee, apple and orange juice. No cereal, milk, or hot chocolate. Not kids friendly.

NOTHING! It was a horrible experience...

The room I rented in June was filled with syringes! So they gave us another room. AGAIN, syringes, and both room's had syringes under the matresses! It was clear that it's a place frequented by drug user's. It took us 3 hr's. to find a safe place to stay.

This hotel is in the worst part of town. We found syringes in both room's. The other people who took the room we originally booked checked under the mattress, more syringes! So we checked our's and sure enough syringes in the bed! Even the people that were there looked very shady. It's obviously a place where drug user's hang out. We demanded a full refund and got the heck out of there! We booked that room because we were flying home in the morning. The Ramada Inn up the street was equally as bad. It took us 3 hr's. to find a safe place to stay, well after midnight. We got little or no sleep before flying home. If you are out of state be VERY careful WHE...

It is very close to the freeway, restaurants and banking.

First room wasn't ready when I got there, second room that was supposed to be ready - the beds were not made. The third room was okay and on a level that was convienent for me. TV needed a chennel that shows stocks, metals markets.

Good for overnight stay. Not fancy and does not have a free breakfast but there are places to eat very close by. It is clean, close to gas stations and freeway access.

We arrived an hour after check in time and our room was not ready, which we found out by entering the room and finding it in disarray. We went back downstairs and we were told there were no other rooms available to us and we waited for another half hour. The front desk staff kept running back and forth to the manager to no avail. Finally we convinced them to let us pay for an upgrade just so that we could get into a room as we had plans for the evening and were only in Portland for one night. Again the front staff went back and forth several times with the manager. The manager never came out to help or talk with us despite the fact that we had now been waiting for about an hour in the lobby. Finally we got a room and they called up and told us the upgrade would cost us $18 in total. We had a nice evening in Portland and when we checked out the next morning we were told it was now going to cost us $40 for the upgrade which we refused to pay after the hassle the previous day. The charge ...

The paper thin walls which meant I could hear every sound imaginable from the couple next door who were partying on into the night, was a big detriment.

I can't say I liked anything about this hotel except for its location!

This hotel was nasty and run down! The room smelled really bad and even though 'no smoking' signs were everywhere it was very noticeable the room and hotel had been smoked in! The lady at the front desk was rude and acted as if she didn't want m

I will never stay here again . this place was more like a ' no tell 'motel that rents by the hr ! I would expect this this place to rent for $35.00 but they charged me $60.00 and was very upset of the condition of the hotel and treatment by staff! For 20.00 more I could have stayed a 3 or 4 star hotel with a free breakfast and and a smile and thank you from staff! This place was more like a meth users type place and I was under the impression if I pre paid Thru Priceline I could at least expect a room at safe and clean hotel and not have to hear hookers taking care of business at 3 am!

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Amenities were great, with expanded cable, DVD player, fridge and microwave, and especially very good wireless internet. The staff is very friendly and courteous, always willing to help with any problems I had. It is conveniently located close to the airport, a lightrail station and the interstate, but also sort of off the beaten path so it makes the surroundings quieter and not so busy. Some people have commented on the lack of either an exercise room or pool, but I think that is not really as important, especially in Portland, where trails and parks abound very close to everywhere, and you can still get your workout. For the price, this is a great motel and it is my go-to place to stay whenever I'm in the Portland area.

What downsides I noticed were all fairly minor in nature and not really things the owners can be faulted for. The location, though convenient to the airport and other ground transportation, is still quite far out from the city center. There are train tracks across the street from the hotel, so once in a while you hear one go by. The parking lot can be a little tight, so be careful when pulling your car in or out.

They won't refund my $20 deposit. I had to call my creditcard company to get it back. Such a pain and not worth the headache.

We were from out of town and having lab work done at a local lab so the location was great for that purpose--just spent one night. The staff was friendly and helpful, room spacious and attractive, and bed comfortable (sheets weren't paper thin and clingy). There was a 4' divider that separated the couch from the sleeping area/bed. Along a wall was a counter with a microwave and refrigerator, which is something not all hotel/motel rooms have. It wasn't plush, but more than adequate for our needs and for a reasonable price.

Because of the lab work we were fasting so couldn't try the breakfast they make available for their guests. We didn't check it out, but that isn't a negative in regard to them.

Cheapest place I could find. Surprisingly new clean sheets.

Crusts of paint behind beds, spider webs, clogged bath drain, 12 inch tube tv, old oiley smelling towels, ants crawling in bathroom, overall: not worth the price.

Inexpensive and conveniently located: to Portland airport. Freeways put a person into downtown Portland in about 15-20 minutes. Didn't see any cockroaches and didn't experience bedbug bites. Couple managing this motel were very helpful, seemed reliable.

It's a very old facility, shows its age. Stale tobacco smell went away with heat circulating. Bloodstain on mattress. Dirty rugs. Old pillows. Old linens would not stay tucked in. My adult daughter asked/urged me to cancel, go someplace else.

Would not recommend this motel to anyone, except as last resort to cut travel costs with one night stay. The couple managing the facility were very helpful and seemed sincere. The star rating gave me the impression that Budget Inn was comparable to Howard Johnson's, Days Inn and other similar motels, and much superior to Motel 6. But, maybe I read or remembered the star rating wrong. The separate rooms my daughter and I had were the worst I can recall....

You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
