The Villa de Potes Apartments complex was opened in 2002 comprises a total of 18 apartments and offers impressive architecture. Facilities include a foyer medical assistance and a car park. These excellent apartments are situated in the centre of the old town of Potes the capital of the "Picos de Europa" mountain range and National Park. The apartments are housed in a mountain property that exhibits architecture typical to the region. The property is separated from the surrounding area by a stone wall enclosing the gardens and creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere. You can also enjoy excellent views of the Picos de Europa National Park from here.
The apartment was spacious and had much more than we expected (washing machine, fridge, etc). The lady on reception was extremely pleasant and helpful.
its in a good postion near to the bars and resturants but is quiet at night apart from the dog! at the other end of the village.
parking is a bit of a problem due to the small narrow lane leading to the hotel.
The hotel apartment was close to the town centre and near the mountains. The self catering espect was very convenient as there were shops nearby.
Spacious and comfortable apartment( but they are not all the same) with lovely views.Good location with parking in easy walking distance on upper road.Helpful staff.
Building work on either side of the complex was noisy. Cement mixer outside the entrance to flats.Staff moved us to a quieter apartment when we complained about noise.
very good accomodation, close to centre ,everything worked
Parking is available close to hotel.staff are very limited in thier understanding of English as well as speaking this language.Having said that they were very pleasant and helpful
A great little appartment, clean and tidy. The appartment was tastefully done in the style in keeping with the town and heritage of the region. Imagine a Spanish hunting lodge with small courtyard and a nice patio with swimming pool - still too cool to take advantage while we were there though. The staff could not speak English but were very friendly helpful in any case.
If you have a car - dont expect to park it any where close, but there is pleanty of parking in town and it is all free. Perhaps the signage is not great but all the locals are very happy to oblige with directions - keeping it a secret to be discovered no doubt - spread the word it is a great place to stay in a great town.
Facilities were very good. It was very close to the town centre so we could easily purchase items for these self catering apartments and walk out to one of the many restaurants in the evening. The town is delightful. The pool enabled an evening dip after a day spent walking in the fabulous mountains and gorges of the area.
Access is difficult and they do mean that there is no parking. The hotel is in the middle of a cobbled area, very narrow streets, steps etc The map is accurate although some streets are steps. Should include a description to park on the side of the main road to the south of the hotel and approach from there. We had difficulty gaining access as no one was in the hotel at 16.30 - telephone no. ok
