The neighborhood was quiet and the room was clean. Great place just to get some rest.
We could easily hear the people in the room above us walking around. Also the parking was a little awkward due to the layout. Not such a great place if you'd like a little romance.
Great location! Super convenient to NC State for visiting parents. Nice breakfast buffet. AWESOME STAFF - housekeeping went and brought me ice (the in-room icemaker was off and empty). Ample washers and dryers (luggage got soaked at airport).
Room had a bit of a musty smell, not quite as fresh as I'd have liked. Made a less than great first impression. Easy to miss exit, no street-side signage.
Breakfast was served late. I HATED the slamming door to the outside right on the same wall as my headboard. It shook the whole room all morning every time someone went in or out of the hotel
When I checked in, I didn't like the fact that the employee took my credit card into another room to put a hold for incidentals. He was gone for 3-4 minutes, and I don't like my credit card out of my site. It was awkward and I felt uncomfortable
Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and also helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
I was very satisfied no issues.
Nice room, great soaps, excellent front desk staff
The dirty sheets on the bed in the first room I checked in to and the loud refrigerator.
The room was very clean and pretty spacious
There is no weekend house keeping and the breakfast had very limited options
It was clean for a residence inn - not too much cooking smell.
There is one bed - only - in each room. They called it a Queen, but it felt smaller. Worn out mattress - we rolled into each other all night. LOUD heating/air engine in room - sounded like a jet taking off when it came on. The rooms are really singles.
There is a lot great with the hotel. Staff friendly and engaging. The overall room and hotel appearance was clean and modern. The Manager meal was a welcomed surprise after a long day of driving. Though I didn't go, the proximity to a sports bar is nice.
The location of the hotel was a little out of the way, there isn't much in the way of places to walk to.
Breackfast was very nice. Very clean and comfortable
That it allowed our pet to stay. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of food. The staff very friendly. Very nice place.
We didn't like that the bed was right next to the wall. Made it hard to get up without crawling over husband in the middle of the night.
Ishould have got a king size bed or two double beds
Location is not bad.
Was not very clean. Bathroom not clean.
Little difficult to find the first time
The customer service was awesome.
Only complaint I would have is that they don't take cash.
they offer only one queen bed, the staff did bring in a roll up bed upon request, but the roll up bed is very uncomfortable, got back pain after one night stay
A very close location to lots of things, but it was very quiet.
Trying to check in was very hard. Got there at check in time no one was around. Pushed the button on desk 2 or 3 times. Finally ended up calling the front desk and the clerk appeared from down the hall some place.
Breakfast and kitchenette
Walls too thin . Children screaming and crying
Very comfortable bed. Decent free breakfast.
Hotel smell. Not terrible, but evident. Poor lighting around hotel.
neat, clean, good location
Our room shared a locked door with the next room which is not a big problem but sound (noise/conversation) leaked through. If I could hear our neighbors I'm sure they could hear us. We kept TV low hoping not to disturb them
Lionel and his assistance, remodeled decor, kitchen utensils.
Yes, we were charged $20 per night additional for a pull out bed, when I selected two queens online (they don't have those rooms). There was a dirty washcloth in the shower upon arrival and they were out of milk at the continental breakfast.
did not clean our room. hotel was very hard to find. no on-street signs.
the location was hard to find, but that also made it quiet and not on the busy road. Room was clean
Security was iffy, when we left there were police cars there. No one was ever at the desk.
I was told that there were no rooms with 2 double beds. We had to use a roll away bed that I could feel the springs popping out of. Also there was a continental breakfast that consisted of quarter size muffins and nothing else. No place to sit and eat.
The hotel is freshly remodeled. The rooms are nice and spacious. Free laundry!
The night staff at the front desk was extremely rude. He didn't want to deal with Priceline to get us checked in. They charged me for my room because they were too lazy to collect from Priceline. My money has not been returned and no one responded to emai
Surprisingly new, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
For some reason there were 2 rooms reserved for me when I checked in. I had only reserved 1. The night clerk said he would void the extra room but 2 rooms were billed to my credit card.
Clean friendly staff and close to business conference
The overall new look.
I did not like that there was proof that it was just remodeled. the entire stair case had paint chips all over the carpet.
Nothing. It was hard to find, under construction, no food, no loby. They failed to make up opur room.
Work out room not available, breakfast marginal at best
That the sheets were not clean. We found many hairs throughout the sheets, bed, and bathroom. Yuck. The staff members were nice enough, yet they could not find our reservation. Had someone not recently cancelled, we would have been on the road (better?)
From the dark parking lot, to the multiple extended stay patrons (which we did not know it was extended stay) walking dogs down the hallways, to the bad smells in the hallways, as well as, in the rooms, made this (6) night stay very unpleasant.
Parking was close to entrance to hotel.
Very dark parking lot. I could hear people above our room walking around. The linins on the bed were very thin. The bed was lumpy.
It was close to a 1 star hotel!! Not 2 1/2 star that you advertised.
It was a 1 star hotel.
Location was great, and the room was clean. Beds were comfortable.
I wish I knew that people were there for extended stay. Our room had some wear.
Like the size of the room & bathroom..with a kitchen was a great surprise
My room had a funny oder..
We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights over a weekend while we were visiting our kids in Raleigh. The property was nicely maintained outside but the rooms were really depressing. I'm glad we were only sleeping there at night and didn't have to spend much time in the room. We won't be going back there again.
Previous travelers had warned of the difficult to find location and they were right - although there is now a sign directing you to the hotel which is VERY helpful (we would have driven right past without it). It's convenient to shopping and highways but not much else. We had no issues with the bed and the bathroom was clean. The kitchen area was a nice convenience for coffee in the morning and for reheating left-overs. I was suprised, however, that no one seemed to come to clean the room. The bed remained un-made and the dishes sat in the sink the entire day. I don't really enjoy having to make my own bed or do dishes while on vacation so had I known this fact we probably would have stayed elsewhere. Not having the towels replaced for 3 days is a bit ridiculous so I went to the front desk to ask for fresh ones. I had to wait for over 15 minutes for someone to show up. There was no area information to be found in the hotel - nothing indicating activities in the area or directions of any kind (thank goodness I found the phone book in the night stand). As another traveler stated, it was fine for crashing between NCAA basketball games but other than that I would skip it next time.
A slightly dated hotel room (the cabinets were 90's). The staff was great (i had accidently left $200 cashin the room after checkout and it was retuned promptly) the location was convenient to shopping and entertainment. When I return to Raleigh I'll stay here..
It starts with the location, which is impossible to find, tucked behind stores and trees. The lobby reminds me of a college dorm, spartan and cramped, with a pull down metal security window. The 'suite' consists of one moderate sized room, with refrigerator, stove, table, chairs and bed squeezed in. The bath had flaking, dirty tile. The fridge and ventilation compressors competed throughout the night and when they were both quiet, the noise from the next room could be heard easily. The queen sized bed had the typical sag in the middle, so if there are two, you will need to like snuggling. The fitness facility consisted of a treadmill and an exercise bike. And use your towels carefully, since housekeeping only comes once per week. The staff tried to be helpful, but did not even know there was a train station in town..We were scheduled to stay a week, but bailed after one night.
Customer service was very friendly. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how CLEAN the room was, which is very important to me. This is a pet friendly hotel and was cleaner than some places I have seen. Kitchenette did not supply enough pots and pans, but they did the job for the 3 days we were there. Location hard to find because it lies in back of tree lined parking lot and no sign available pointing to hotel location. But it was worth the stay--very quiet. Be prepared to eat out or prepare your own food--we both. Not recommended as a romantic honeymoon getaway, but definitely as a place where you just want hang out and relax a little.
