It was convenient
Room and TV channel selection.
Breakfast was greatly inadequate.
Not being able to meet Norman
Staff was nice.
They wouldn't give me an actual receipt when I checked out.
Carpeted taped to floor, bugs in room, Outdated everything, bed pillows sheets all old and I. Poor quality
nothing much....just a average hotel but very clean
The room was spacious
The air conditioning system needed a good cleaning. The air in the room was smoky & stale. Everything including the towels & bedding reeked of cigarettes. We are not smokers so it was disgusting.
On the very first nighy we checked in there was a very sweet High school girl working.
Rooms smeeled bad Need to refresh and redo furniture.
The whole hotel smelled like old smoke - got stuck in a smoking room - even with open windows and a fan on still smelled.
The room was fairly clean, but it was a smoking room and SMELLED LIKE IT!
Mattress was 1970s technology, and IT WAS A SMOKING ROOM!! Everything I owned smelled like smoke when I got home. Who has smoking rooms anymore?
Room was a smoking room. And boy was it ever. It made us gag to walk in the rolom. We had to open the window all night.
Half an hour's drive from U of I but a third of the price that places near campus were charging on a home football weekend. Not an extraordinary motel but definitely a decent value for the price. Easy to get to. Strongly recommend the Red Wheel restaurant across the street! Good food and very friendly.
Very pleasant place to stay, with a very courteous helpful staff. BG
