The lobby had a southwestern style that was comfortable and nice for a change. It was conveniently situated for access from Interstate. The room was spacious and clean.
The breakfast left much to be desired. The 'juice' tasted like Sunny Delight, not a favorite. Compared to many other hotels it ranks low but it was better than nothing. barely :) .This is an old style Sands Hotel, the parking lot is old , the carpeting, everything, though it all seemed clean, was on older side. This was fine and served it's intended purpose, which was to provide affordable sleep accommodation to prevent creating unsafe driving condition. Sadly the swimming pool is closed due ADA issue for disabled access. The building & pool were surely built prior to those rules, so they should be exempt. Why should everyone be without use of pool. The carpet was nasty gummy. The shower head was cross threaded and sprayed water across the bathroom. Three Ricks of wood and an old law mower was piled in front of the entrance. Theyadvertised to accept pets, but when you get there they want $40 cash.The pool was just an empty hole in the ground. It would have been better if the whole place was just an empty hole in the ground. It was unpainted, chipped, water sprayed, gummy carpeted, over priced, unkempt hotel .

I picked this hotel because it was a drive up. They put me in a wing down a hall. If I wanted that i would have booked the comfort inn. The lady at the front desk said the manager put me in this room ande could not move me. the hotel was empty at 6 in
