Housed in a historic Renaissance building and considered as one of the most exclusive hotels in Ravenna historic center, the Albergo Cappello offers a unique atmosphere thanks to its elegant interiors with refined frescoed walls and antique furnishings. Legend tells that this building was the birthplace of Francesca da Polenta, the ill-fated wife of Gianciotto Malatesta in Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Located only a few steps from the renowned Piazza del Popolo square, this luxurious hotel in Ravenna is the best accommodation choice to visit this charming town in Northern Italy. In addition, business travelers will appreciate the hotel's state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities. The Albergo Cappello offers free wireless Internet access. A restaurant and a wine bar are also located within the hotel, although they are run separately. Pets are welcome.
the staff, the ambience, and the atmosphere in Ravenna
Beautifully restored house. Friendly and competent staff. Great bathroom.
It needs to be made clear that you must arrange car parking facilities with them when you book.
Clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. Quiet room
Breakfast rather disappointing. We thought fresh bread rolls should have been provided, particularly since the market was right next to the hotel and opened at 7am.
the pleasant staff, and the central position
breakfasts were very poor and could only be taken in a rather gloomy, if stylish, upstairs room, when it would have been nice to have had it outside in the street.
