The location of hotel was great.
Door key had problems, room had lots of stains and broke and/or worn down items. Staff was less than friendly.
Wifi weak and kept going out
not the cleanest, and in need of updating, pictures were deceiving!
Efficient & quick
Looked a little run down, staff was efficient but slightly cold
Clean, quiet & good breakfast
Booking indicated a queen size bed, we got a full size
good price, except for the extra $10 they charged me.
They charged me an extra $10 to switch from a single bed to 2 double beds. This is a problem with booking using priceline.
One of the rooms was not ready when we got there, thimgs broken and not happy with price line either and will not book with you guys again
location was good - desk clerk was very nice.
Room was very SMALL. There was no micro or fridge. Had to ask for a hair dryer and light bulb. Noisy outside.
Not a single thing!
This hotel was worse than poor! there were roaches in the floor, holes in the sheets, and we found drugs in a drawer. When I addressed these issues with management, he didnt speak enough English to respond or address my concerns.
The room was dirty there were fake fingernails & visible dirt between the bed and nightstand the phone made a crackling noise like a bad radio speaker & the pool had cigarette butts floating in it I wanted a refund but could not get one very disappointed
I didn't like anything about this hotel.
When I arrived the lady behind the desked told me that I don't need to use priceline because it cut them out of money. She was very rude. the rooms were old and dirty. I will never stay at this day inn again.
It was hard to select a hotel for an overnight stop for my college daughters on their way home. The property looked 'ok' on the web site. Many of my alternate choices for a low cost overnight were booked up already. My daughter's description of their stop was 'sketchy' - the people hanging around the property and watching them had them on edge all night. It was a modest priced property but did not reflect a 'great value' and will be off my list of future picks.
The hotel itself is shabby, the rooms have minimal soundproofing and are very noisy. The location is in a more run-down area of Richmond (personal opinion) and the hotel shows the signs of this. The room we reserved (single queen bed) was TINY with a slum-like feel and the bed slept like a sprung sofa. While the hotel was not entirely what we expected, the staff that managed the hotel was very efficient and helpful, they were upbeat and seemed happy to help in any way they could to make the most of our stay. The continental breakfast that was served daily included the basic cereal, toast/bagels, coffee, juice and milk but also a hot bar with waffles and biscuits and gravy. If you just need a place to sleep, and aren't picky, for the price, it was an acceptable stay. If you will have down time during your stay and want to have a comfortable experience, you may want to choose another location.
Rooms weren't very clean and had an unpleasant smell; we complained and were moved to a different room but it was about the same; the woman at the counter sprayed the replacement rooms with fabreeze before moving us and told us that we should have expected what we got for the money. She suggested we stay at a better chain next time if we expect nicer rooms, which we plan to do.
