It was inexpensive, relatively clean.
The door to the stairwell sounds like a gunshot when closed. And there is no way for people not to slam it. It's hard to sleep when you think there is gunfire in the hallway.
I like the free Microwave and Refrigerator
1) There was a SAFE but it is not working, the management cannot open it. 2) The bed-cover has holes from cigarette burns 3) There was no nighlight. You get your dollar's worth with Free Breakfast and Internet. But with the same price, many better hotels / Inn are offering the same. A cheap nightlight against a power convenience outlet could help guests at night, especially with 2 beds and the other one cannot sleep at night with lights on.
The hotel was not nice and needed updated and fixed
Location- easy to find, close to destination
Smoke smell in hallways, windows at same level of parking lot, older building with repairs obvious and not well done, refrigerator loud buzzing at 4:30amIt was o.k. but next time I will spend a little more for a better place. They had it quite clean but still smelled like smoke in the halls, A/C smelled a bit like mold. Fridge in room woke me up about 4:30am with a loud buzzing. They've been doing repairs but not finishing them well. It was a bit noisy in the area at night and the car lights from the parking lot shined in the window of the first floor room. This is the second time we have had this kind of experience with this chain. I will probably avoid Super 8 in the future.
It is centrally located with several restaurants within walking distance.
Not enough towels and washcloths provided. There were 2 adults and 1 child staying in our room but we were only given 2 towels and 2 washcloths. It is an older worn hotel but though located on a very busy street, it was very quiet and peaceful. Have stayed here before and would again.
close to the highway
airconditioner was not on when we arrived, could be pet friendlyits ok for one night
This hotel was extremely out of date, dirty, smelly, and I felt like I was in a dungeon. There was no water pressure, no fitted sheet on the bed and breakfast was bread, eggo waffles and two types of cereal. THAT WAS IT. Evern the coffee was out!We got this hotel because it was cheaper and I saw the reviews, but sometimes I know people can be very picky. I realized when we got there they were not being picky, they were just being honest! We tried to look for the good stuff but we really couldn't find much. It was dirty, smelly and very run down. Unfortunately, overall we mutually agreed that this was the most disgusting hotel we had ever stayed in and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I liked the fact that there weren't any roaches and when we found hair covered both beds in the room, we were allowed to switch rooms.
I did not like the fact that I drove 3 hours to have a family vacation and pull the blankets on the bed back and hair was covered the bed, the staff half spoke English, and we were made to leave our children on the third floor when we moved to the first. The price of the hotel was decent and there are restaurants near by with good service. The beds looked like chia pets had been sleeping in them. We took pictures as well as picked up the pubic hairs and placed them on my daughters wipes and took them to the office. The lady there called a 'housekeeper' and talked in Indian to her so we did not understand what was being said. They did say they were running on limited staff and were sorry. Moved us to the first floor and made us leave our children in the second room on the third floor. It looks like this hotel had a f...
Bad cigarette smell in halls and in non-smoking rooms. Entrance doors to hotel were not key protected, only had a bell when entering. No fitted sheets. Flat sheets came off the beds while sleeping. No alarm clock/radio in room. The stay was a disappointment. I took 5 high school students to a Robotics competition, so the price for the three rooms was good, but the accommodations were not. Bad cigarette smell in all of the halls and in our non-smoking rooms. Hotel was located in a good shopping area with lots of stores and restaurants. Parking was OK because there were not that many other guests. Sheets came off the beds because they were not fitted. Stayed two nights and the beds were re-made but the same linens were used again. That would not normally be a problem except I did change some students around after the first night. Breakfast was OK. No one to replenish when things ran out. Two small tables and 5 chairs in the breakfast room...
