Exactly where I wanted to be. very easy access to the highway and shopping and restaurants all around.
Could have been cleaner and the staff members could show a little more professionalism.
Great location. Nice, clean room. Good free breakfast.
The room was a little small. The beds were double beds; would have greatly preferred queen-sized beds.
The staff was AMAZING. So kind.
The bed was awful. The most uncomfortable bed. Did not rest for two nights.
The cleaniness, friendly front desk staff and the location.
Just perfect at every level.
The hotel had a nice breakfast spread.
The shower was in need of some repair. It did work but not a well as it should.
Front desk staff so nice and helpful. Great hotel for the price. Would stay there again.
The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Our bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned. It had used soap and shampoo inside when we arrived.
location. felt safe. room small but sufficient. got choice of room location and it was extremely convenient to all amenities. Hotel was bright and welcoming.
found long hair in shower but feel this could happen anywhere
It was clean and quiet. Nice place to stay the night.
The bathroom area was a little small. Breakfast was sausage gravy, biscuits and cold hard boiled eggs. You put the gravy on the eggs and they're tolerable enough. Those darn tiny square pillows. They are everywhere these days. Like day old marshmellows.
staff was flexible with room request to be non smoking and my dog with me
lighting in room was weird
There two reasons why this hotel gets even 2/10 rating: Excellent location and nice and helpful staff.
Leaking faucets, lousy food, very uncomfortable old beds.
Room decor and cleanliness. Sheets were never changed whole time I stay in room.
Everything sparkling Clean!
The staff was amazing.
Smoke smell every where, and really bad in our room.
The smoke smell permeates this hotel. The furniture in the room was stained. The bathroom had visible mold. The 2nd day I returned to my room after being gone since 10am and the room hadn't been cleaned. Awful experience I will not stay again.
Good location nice staff
Very thin walls. Heard everyone in other rooms
The staff was not polite if you could locate someone. Our room did not get cleaned. Mattress was broken down
Breakfast was poor. Not much to eat, milk was spolied, waffle maker broken Only bread and cereal to eat.No eggs,no meat.orange juice and coffee.
Good location, friendly staff
Breakfast below average
Very convenient to freeway. Star bucks within walking distance and shopping, grocery and gas close by.
In the main area the carpet was dirty. Vacuumed but dirty. The room was good for star level but the fridge froze all my veggies. Hallway was very noisy with running children.
The rooms are extremely dated, the heating and air was terrible because it kept going on and off and awakens you all night long. Cigarette smoke came in room from smokers outside your room. Spider in room.
Last minute booking, price and location.
The person checking USA in was overwhelmed and had given someone keys to a room that was already occupied! The room we were in smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room!
The room was a smoking room. I am very allergic to smoke. I was not able to stay in the room. The hotel was not flexible with my accommodations and was not willing to be flexible because of my reservation being with Priceline.
Good location, next to several restraints including Starbucks, a bowling alley and a movie theater.
Dirty room. Sticky soda splattered on walls, bathroom super tiny and door would not latch, lock or stay closed. No blankets in room. Microwave filthy. Slow bathtub drain so I lifted the plug and found a large ball of long stringy hair.
Accessibility to the interstate.
Yes, because I booked with a '3rd party' they were going to put me in a smoking room because they had no other vacancies. However she told the person in front of me that all they had left was king non-smoking rooms.
The hotel was average but we found a hypodermic needle in the towels, this really caused me to wonder about how well the room had been cleaned.
The desk clerk responded quickly to my complaint.
The room was very warm and the air conditioner would not operate for more than a few minutes. The mattress was very hard; almost like sleeping on the ground. The Priceline bid placed me in a smoking room which would have been unexceptable.
Convenience to amenities.
Was a little dated.
people were in the hallways until 2:30 in the morning and being very loud. So we were not able to sleep.
Location was good
The room we were assigned smelled of smoke so badly that we couldn't stay. Air freshener did not work. They refused to move us to another room. We checked out and went to another hotel nearby. We will not return to this hotel.
Location to eating places
Second Quality Inn and second smoking room. Last one I couldn't get non-smoking because they were booked. Convinced they save smoking rooms for Priceline customers.
Apology made by staff trying to find us a none smoking room
The smoking king size bed room we were stuck with. Used bottle and a half of frebres and still smelled it the next morning. Still washing clothes, overnight bags, and car. Really going to think twice before doing this again.
It wasn't a 2 1/2 star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned very well. There was a sticky drink ring on the table between the beds. The carpet had not been vacuumed. I have pictures to back it up. The staff was fine. Breakfast as as expected.
Right off the interstate with lots of restaurant choices and facilities nearby.
Where do I start?? On arrival the front desk was vacant for over 10 minutes with no bell or signal available to stir some activity. This was at 6:00 PM. After check in the hallway on the way to our room smelled of dirty diapers. Room had no toilet pap
Very nice employees
The housekeeping in the hallways and stairwells could be better.
I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed my stay. I reserved two adjoining rooms. The front desk was a breeze to work with and were very accommodating and friendly. One of the rooms' outer locks was torn up, and they attempted to repair it or switch us to another room. We declined, but it was nice that they offered and attempted to correct the situation. James was working at the front desk and was extremely helpful. The lady when we checked out the next morning was very friendly. The staff's attitude plays a big role in us wanting to return. Great location for shopping and restaurants. The pool was very nice. The water in it was a little chilly, though, so I'm guessing it's not heated. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping me from giving this a perfect score is that the beds are quite firm, and the comforters are thin and slippery as a previous reviewer said. Other than the beds (a problem they could easily fix with mattress pads), I really enjoyed my stay. I will stay there again and again! Make sure you make it to breakfast there. VERY clean room for this and the staff worked very hard keeping everything well stocked. They were out of bread and brought some more in from the kitchen as soon as I requested it. The adjoining room's carpet needed stretched or replaced, but was clean.
Access to the Interstate Highway
Cleanliness of the room was very poor. Rug was not cleaned in a while. Carpet needs replaced. Desk chair was broken. Smoking room when I requested non-smoking.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful
bathroom are small. AC problems. Quilt on bed had stains.
Rate not worth the stay!
The pictures were not a true representation of this hotel. Carpets were stained. Expected upscale bedding...got bedspreads (think no-tell-motels)! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! False pictures! Holiday Inn Express next door worth the $$$!
All rooms smelled of smoke, and they said they could not move us to another room! We had 3 rooms booked all smelled of smoke and were dirty and not up to the standard we had expected!
The location was good, for us it was close to everything we needed and where we wanted to be.
I feel like we recieved the worst rooms in the hotel, I wonder if this is what they do because it is a priceline room. This hotel was much nicer before they sold to Quality Inn! It looked worn out and dirty!
The entire 2nd floor smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room was 'non-smoking' but smelled of cigarette smoke also. The 2nd floor carpet was torn, buckeled in areas and appeared dirty. When we checked in, we were told that priceline customers do not get king or queen beds. The lady at the desk said Priceline customers only get smoking rooms with two double beds. The free breakfast was marginal. Sorry to give such a negative review. Hope my comments help the owner of this hotel. We are business friendly and only wish the very best to all.
We were forced to take a smoking room. It was bad !
Since the hotel did not reserve a room for us we were totally inconvenienced by the hotel action but luckily Priceline was able to find us a room , although that did not make up for the hotel incompetence on the reservation
Close to the business center we needed to be
When we arrived they put us in a smoking room.My husband and I are allergic to smoke. They changed us the next day to non smoking, but we both had sore throats and could hardly talk. Had I know we were to be put in a smoking room I would not have bid .
There was a Starbucks right next door!!!
The place was a rathole.
Location was terrific, that is the only postitive about the hotel
That i wish that i would not have gotten a smoking room.
The location was very convenient to our final destination of completing a college campus visit. There were multiple restaurants, gas stations, and grocery story very close to the hotel. The hotel was easy to locate off the highway, good signage, well lit
the front desk staff was NOT friendly, poorly dressed. beds are hard as rocks, very noisy from floor above.
We have stayed at the Jameson several times in the past and have had clean quiet rooms.
Good, modern, clean, easy to find location. Close to freeway, restaurants, shopping center, bowling alley. Double beds are extremely hard. Need to upgrade mattress or add comfortable pads.
Hotel was ok, over priced but I am sure they jacked rates up since it was graduation wkend. My Room (double beds) was small and cramp appeared to be clean except odor and carpet - Water Fountain in lobby dispensed WARM water??? Breakfast was ok. My brother had a room with King size bed and recliner... recommend you ask for that room ...seemed less crowded. I would try other hotels before choosing Jameson ... but it was better than a Motel 8... priced that way too
We attended our daughter`s graduation in Richmond and found the Jameson Inn a very nice clean friendly and comfortable hotel. One thing of interest was our room faced an open field so while sleeping you did not get the usual blast of urban light that often keeps me up while staying in motels. We paid* a night which was a great bargain!
We stayed here on our way to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with our son. We thought it would be fine, since we would only be there about 10-12 hours (sleeping). Check-in was a breeze, then we headed to our room. The smell of smoke was horrible... especially for a NON-SMOKING hotel. They either don't have measures in place to take care of people smoking where they shouldn't, or they just don't care. We were extremely disappointed, and concerned for our son. We let him ride the elevator (he's 3) - and what is there? 2 cigarette butts! Yuck! If you have any concern for your health, don't stay here. If not, you should be fine. Beds were fine. Staff was nice.
I stayed here two nights on a weekend (Sat. and Sun.) It was quiet, the staff were helpful, and the buffet breakfast was good. It was an easy off/on to I-75 There are two restaurants an easy walk across the parking lot-- a Steak and Shake and a Ryans. My only complaint is that the bedspread/comforter was very thin. It didn't provide much warm and was very sllipery and fell off the bed during the night.
