It was a nice place to stay
So new... We were disappointed to learn that we were in a handicapped rm but we were dead wrong. Room just like regular except huge. Beautiful decor... No curtains for doors.....Fabulous. Highly recommend.
Large rooms with a great layout.
No on site restraint or bar.
We stayed 3 nights at the Hampton Inn Riverton. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and the free internet. However the house keeping department is understaffed and our room had not been cleaned during our entire stay and we had to call the front desk for more towels and toiletry items. There were also no refrigeators or microwaves in the queen or king rooms. Only in the suites they should be in all rooms.
This hotel opened up in Feb 2010, according to the woman at the service desk. I am really picky about hotels and tend to get a little grossed out sleeping in rooms that I know many others have been in before me. This hotel was so pristine, nicely decorated, and comfortable that I forgot that I wasn't the first one to stay there. The rate was VERY reasonable for the quality of the hotel and we felt like we really found a diamond in the rough. Pool was also very clean, and breakfast was delicious with waffles and bisquits and gravy, along with all the usual bagels and cereals. Overall, it was a great find and we would definitely come back.
