Room was decent enough in size and the heater/ac unit worked.
There were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The fridge didn't work and when I called to the front desk to ask for maintenance to come look at it, they said it would be 20-25 minutes. When the maintenance guy arrived, approx. 30 minutes later, who also reeked of marijuana, he said that I should wait an additional 20 minutes to see if the fridge turned on, if it didn't he would then replace it with a different fridge. I feel he should have done that from the beginning. Upon checkout, I walked to the front desk, turned in the room keys, but the desk clerk didn't say hi, thank you or anything. I then asked if we were all good to go and she said yes. But then said, 'wait, how did you pay for the room'? I then showed her my booking information, which I had printed off the internet and she kept a copy. All in all, I will say that I will not stay here again. The morning staff was horrendous and not welcoming. The room was beyond sub-par, which is not good. The maintenance staff was either clueless or didn't care. I feel that my money was definitely not spent wisely and had an unsatisfactory time at this hotel. The Holiday Inn Express sure does cost more, but I'm pretty sure I would have had a better experience.
