We liked the fact that it had a continental breakfast, free parking, and a pool/hot tub combination. It also had a complimentary shuttle to Mayo Clinic and I even seen one person being shuttled to the mall. The room came with a microwave and fridge.
Room 103-The rooms were older, and need updating. The room walls were thin and you could hear virtually everything going on in the room next to you and in the hallway. The housecleaning staff started early and I was awakened by them at 5:30 a.m.There was lots of parking, and it served our purpose for appointments at the Mayo clinic. Room size was average. The breakfast was mainly waffles, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. There were cookies at the front desk when I arrived and noted more cookies later during our stay. They also had a basket of fruit setting out for those that stayed at their hotel. The morning staff were very attentive and were ready to attend to your every need. Coffee was ...
Breakfast area was freezing cold, but it was really cold outside too
It was super clean and the staff was SO helpful.
We didn't have a single complaint. It was terrific! The room was laid out nicely, so one could comfortably watch TV, do work at the desk, have a spot for take-out meals or do things in the bathroom without distracting someone doing one of the other things. There was a fridge and a microwave - things we've been noticing disappearing from hotels - and they were hidden behind the doors of a counter-height tall cabinet/drawers. The height was nice because our toddler couldn't easily grab everything off the top. It's obvious their philosophy of business is to meet the customer's every need. They had a list of items you could ask for at the desk that included razors & shaving cream, which I expected to pay for, but it was all complimentary. We had trouble using the internet on our laptop, so they sent someone up to help us. We asked about the room next to us because the door had been ajar the whole time we...
We were unhappy with the hotel. The staff and breakfast were both very good.
When we first checked in, the bathroom had not been cleaned. It was very dirty. We asked for a different room and were moved. It was better but the carpet was old. We stayed one night and when we came back the next day, the room and bathroom were notcleaned at all. The bed was not made up. We did not get any more soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. The bed sheet was somewhat pulled up and the pillows put on the bed. That is all. We were very very disappointed in this motel. It did not feel clean at all. Will not stay there ever again and do not plan to use Priceline as we could get it again.
Bkfst was good
TV didn't work for 1 nite & clerk blamed Charter service which wasn't the case !!
The entranceway when you walk in is so inviting, it was decorated for x-mas and there was a fireplace and cookies on the front desk. The hotel clerk was so accomodating with our room for our daughter who had just had surgery. He was the best.
I did find a used floss pick in the bathroom, but everything else was so nice I just overlooked it. Also the hot tub was not working the first night we checked in but we were promised it would be fixed the next day and as promised it was.We had been previously staying at another hotel I pricelined several times and really thought it was wonderful until we stayed at this hotel. We were wowed when we just entered the lobby, all decorated for the holidays and so inviting. Cookies on the check-in desk for everyone. My daughter was at Mayo for surgery and would be staying with us for Thanksgiving night when she was released and the desk clerk bent over backwards for her needs, wheelchair, first floor room, anythin...
Easy to find - clean - quiet great price - good breakfast - free morning paper
noIt was a nice place to spend the evening after having driven 10 hours.
breakfast was good
the pillows were way too soft. hot tub water was cold.
The receptionist was very helpful when I called en route.
Priceline has this hotel mislocated on Priceline's Google Maps link; I wasted 30 minutes looking for the hotel. Also, the breakfast kitchen staffer appeared to have a very bad cold. In her condition, she should not have been around food (or guests). If you can avoid hotels built with wood floors like this one (vs concrete floors), do so; wood floors are a sign of cheap construction.
