Pros:The price was excellent for the Rochester area. Room was clean and served our purposes well for a Mayo Clinic visit the next morning. With more visits to the Mayo Clinic coming up, we would definitely look at the Days Inn South again.
Pros:Had a kitchenette, clean and warm. Breakfast in the morning
Cons:Small, no pool

Pros:The staff was very nice. Went above and beyond to help or get us something. The laundry area was nice and clean had 4 washers and dryers. We had other family members come in and they made sure we were all on the same floor. There is a shuttle that runs to and from the Mayo Clinic.
Cons:The breakfast was not the best. We were told they are getting ready to put in a real kitchen and breakfast area. There are a lot of construction guys that stay here. Overall not to bad.
Pros:Staff was very courteous
Cons:The sheets seems were not changed for a long time . Had an interview the next day woke up with bad sinus and sore throat .
Pros:We went to Rochester for Mayo Clinic, picked is hotel for kitchenettes. We got then early was able to check in and go to room. Room was very clean. Full size frig,4 burner stove top, full size microwave. All looked new.Staff was friendly and clean. One of the best rooms I have stayed in. Shuttle came at the top of every hour from 6am to 5pm dropped off at front door of Mayo Clinic.
Pros:Very Excellent Rate & Expected Accommodation. Convenient to main Mayo campus and Mayo's St. Mary's campus by car. Appreciated breakfast included.
Cons:Thin staffing by management and maintenance. Lack of training & empowerment of desk staff to resolve issues. For example: Maintenance & manager were unable to respond to a clogged toilet. I was told maintenance was "out sick" and manager was unavailable due to "sick children." No back-ups were contracted and desk staff was not authorized to call someone in. After a long day I had to internally relocate. No follow-up from management.
Pros:We had just spent 5 days at the downtown Rochester Days Inn. The move to South saved me $35 per day plus provided me with a meal to start the day. If I ever have to travel to Rochester again I will not stay downtown nor will I recommend that location to anyone. I would recommend the South location.
Cons:The odor of the cleaning material used throughout the building, This was in the hallways but not noticed in the room.
